I founds the hosts Therese and Mark extremely friendly and accommodating. The beach house is private and fully equipped with the most beautiful view of Lake Heron. Highly recommended. Love this place!

Thank you Mary! It was a delight to be your hosts.
The south shore of Manitoulin is lovely and quiet. 10 minute drive to the best beach on the island which is enormous and uncrowded and a 10 minute walk to a very secluded beach near the cabin. Centrally located, this cabin is 20 minutes from Mindemoya and Foodland grocery store. The hosts are lovely, right next door if you need anything, and not intrusive. Highly recommended.
Thank you to Therese and Marc for being great hosts and for sharing their piece of remote Ontario paradise. Talk about a breath of fresh air! This was a retreat to nature on the shores of Lake Huron - and comfortable the whole time.

It was a pleasure to host Heather and family! The perfect guests and great sports as we underwent the seasonal opening hiccups. Thank you!
Our hosts, Therese and Mark, were amazing. They both welcome their guests at the cottage. The cottage itself is a real "cottage" not a house by the lake (we spent time in these places before). So, for those who like to have AC and other modern amenities, forget it (although, the internet connection was really good). This is an amazing place to get away from all this. The cottage has woods (with trails) in the back and waterfront on the other, south side of the building. It was also my first time at Manitoulin Island, and I fell in love....
Two seniors away for a few days, after labour day. Quiet spot with beautiful view of Lake Huron. The beach and water is literally on your doorstep —about 100 feet away. Spectacular night time star scape. A little early for northern lights showing—apparently October maybe. There are two sets of 7 steps to door of cottage. Nice deck to sit out on. Lots of kitchen cupboards/drawers that are well equipped.
Queen bed in one room. very comfortable. Two singles in other room. Satellite tv and wifi worked great. Very nice, obliging owners. Would definitely stay again if ever we go to Manitoulin.

Thank you! You left it so clean, the cleaners complained! And a generous tip to boot! Please come back, you are the perfect guests.
We and our two sons had a wonderful 3 week stay at this lovely beach house in August. We appreciated the private location of the property on Lake Huron and enjoyed daily beautiful and tranquil waterfront views from the private deck and sandy beach. We and the boys enjoyed very joyful and endless summer days of swimming, boating, and exploring the waterfront and surrounding forest. The property has several peaceful forest trails that we really enjoyed for some long relaxing walks. The cottage was very comfortable and had all the comforts and amenities we needed. The large bedroom windows provided refreshing forest and lake breezes during the day and evenings. We appreciated the bicycles available for a few trips down the open-air country roads. The hosts, Therese and Marc, were amazing! They greeted us when we arrived and answered all of our questions about the property and surrounding area. They were always very kind, thoughtful, conscientious, responsive and helpful prior to and during our visit.
Thank you so much Therese and Marc for such a wonderful stay at your beach house and property! We and the boys made such great memories there to cherish and we hope to be back again in future!
Very sincerely,
Tom and Freda
