Chalet Col de la Forclaz

Hello and welcome to Talloires Montmin!<br><br>The Alpine chalet “l'Orme” welcomes families and travelers seeking peace and quiet... but also a warm, friendly atmosphere among friends.<br><br>**On the 1st floor of the chalet**:<br>- 1 bedroom, double bed<br>- a shower with plenty of jets<br>- The living room with a huge TV (but it’s still better to look out the window!)<br>- A hanging fireplace<br>- The kitchen<br>- Restroom<br>- The balcony for enjoying an aperitif while watching chamois and foxes race down the mountain (bring your binoculars)<br><br>**On the 2nd floor**<br>- 3 bedrooms with double beds, 2 of which have access to a balcony.<br>- Toilet<br>- Bathroom with tub<br><br>**In the basement**<br>- Foosball<br>- Pool table <br><br>**Outside**<br>- The 80-square-meter terrace that’s just been redone!<br>- The outdoor seating area arranged around the fire pit lets you enjoy evenings by the fire, even in the middle of summer.<br><br>**Chalet location:<br>- 10 min from Talloires and Lake<br>- 20 minutes from Annecy<br>- 45 min from Geneva Airport,<br>- 5 min from the Col de la Forclaz <br><br>**The Col de la Forclaz: <br>- one of the most beautiful paragliding spots in France!<br>- The restaurant L’Auberge de Montmin (really expensive, but incredibly good)<br>- Probably the most beautiful view of Lake Annecy<br>- Kilometers of hiking trails<br>- Chamois, foxes, mountains… nature!<br><br>**For Hikers: <br>- The Col de la Tournette (highest point of the Bornes Massif)<br>- 3 hours and 40 minutes from the chalet—on foot, of course!<br>- 11 minutes by car<br><br>**For skiers**<br>The Talloires Montmin ski resort is a 5-minute drive from the chalet.<br>It’s a nice place, but it’s run by a community association. If there’s no snow, there’s no skiing! <br>A 35-minute drive away is La Clusaz<br>-> On Vrbo, there’s a note stating that we’re close to a ski resort... Please ignore it!
