Absolutely brilliant place. Such a good location - just five mins from the beach and so close to local food shops. The house is massive and the photos really don't do it justice - especially the top floor 'kids' rooms. Juliette was a pleasure to deal with - and happily answered all my stupid questions. We had a brilliant week.

Great Stay at Juliette's House

We stayed at Juliette's house and it was an amazing experience. The house was exactly as described online and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. One of the highlights of our stay was the location. We were able to reach Annecy city center within just 10- 15 minutes by bike and a stunning little beach was only 10 minute walk away. It was the perfect location for some relaxation and exploration. Moreover, Juliette was an excellent host who was always there to help us with anything we needed. Her friendly attitude made our stay even more memorable. If you're looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, then I highly recommend this beautiful place.

Big house, beautiful view, near Annecy

The house is big and suited for a large family. The furniture is a bit shabby (vintage). The two person bedrooms are fine with good beds. The childrens bedrooms don’t have comfortable beds. Every floor has a bathroom and toilet. The house is situated next to a busy road, we didn’t mind it, but you hear the traffic in the bedrooms. There’s a small supermarket (Casino) at walking distance, just as fine bakery. The tourist office is at the other side of the road. Until 31-8 free bus to Annecy. The owners kept in touch with us by text messages, that was fine. We could get in touch with them if we had questions.

Good location but needs much improvement and a good clean.

The building itself is in a good location and spacious but I can't recommend this property as there is a lot of maintenance that needs attention and it needs a very good clean. Maintenance issues include: a couple of places where the floorboards moved when you stepped on them, the cupboard door that housed the fridge kept coming off its hinges, the dishwasher door handle was broken. The downstairs shower leaked and the upstairs shower attachment was broken so you couldn't attach it to the wall and had to hold it while showering. The beds and mattresses were very low quality and uncomfortable. Upstairs, one 'bed' was just a mattress on the floor. On the cleanliness side, the towels were stiff and smelled mouldy and I had to wash them before we used them. They were also stained which wasn't pleasant. The bedding smelled too. I'm sure the covers had been washed but the duvets and pillows need replacing as they had a sweaty odour to them. The bathrooms also smelled of stale urine. Another point to mention is that there is nowhere to put your clothes, no wardrobes, drawers or even hooks on the back of doors so we had to live out of our suitcases for a week. This place needs a good clear out, clean, new bedding and towels purchased and breakages fixed before it will be suitable to rent out as a holiday let.

Until now bedlinens and towels were rented by each host on a voluntary basis. We have decided to provide them for free this year for everyone but we didn't managed well the cleaning and drying in only some hours in the day of host change, especially when the sun was not there as when you arrived. We will organize us better next year with two set of each that will be changed from a week to another. We do apologize for this trouble. More generally our house is an house where we leave during full year and not an "hotel". It has great pros with a wide equipment but also cons with probably less attention to some stuff that we are even no more seing, like the upstairs shower attachement. We will take care to handle those points for a better experience in 2020. Just one point regarding this stay. Even if cleaning is automatically booked with the rental, we'd prefer not to find old french fries in the owen or glued candies in the sofa...sharing an house is a win-win deal where the respect needs to be 100% shared.

Lovely house in a charming village. We stayed with 9 people and everything we needed was available to us at the house. Communication with the owners was great, and there's multiple beaches within a 10min walking distance. The only downside is the noise from the street, but we adjusted fairly quickly. Bring a car for bigger shopping tours as the closest supermarket is a bit down the road (3min by car, 5-10min by bike), but there's a fantastic bakery just up the road that we went to daily.
