Nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac, on the edge of a lane, opposite the magnificent Château d'Aine, built in 1858 and boasting a renowned 17-hectare listed park (flanked by a rich arboretum housing a wide variety of plant species: Atlas cedar, sequoia, purple beech, bald cypress, etc.). Peace and tranquility abound, just steps from the vineyards, perched on a hillside, in the heart of a picturesque little hamlet offering a beautiful, unobstructed view of the countryside and vineyards (as far as Mont Blanc, the Alps, and the Jura mountains on a clear day!), overlooking the village of Azé from its panoramic promontory. Renowned for its famous caves (a listed prehistoric site with a museum, famous for its exceptional cave bear remains), this charming, perfectly preserved wine-growing and market village boasts a rich historical heritage (12th-century Romanesque church, 19th-century market hall, castles, wash houses, towers, mills, beautifully restored historic houses, etc.) as well as its own AOC (Mâcon-Azé, made from the Chardonnay grape) and offers numerous small shops and services.
