Pour un court ou un long séjour, vous serez dans le cœur historique de Lyon dans cet appartement que mon épouse et moi avons fait rénover pendant 6 mois jusqu'en Février 2021.

Il est situé au dernier étage -avec ascenseur et vue panoramique- dans un immeuble typique , datant du XIXe siècle, à 100 m de la place des Terreaux et de l'Hôtel de Ville de Lyon, à moins de 200 m de la station de métro "Hôtel de Ville" et des principales lignes de bus (C3) , et à 5 min du Vieux Lyon à pieds.

Des parkings publics sont disponibles à moins de 300 m de l'appartement.

We had a fantastic stay. The location was perfect — close to all amenities, yet quiet and peaceful. Everything we needed was within easy reach, which made our trip incredibly convenient.The property itself was spotless, stylish, and very comfortable. It truly had everything you could possibly need inside — thoughtfully stocked and beautifully put together. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the entire space felt fresh, clean, and well cared for.We also felt very safe throughout our stay, which is always important when traveling.The host was attentive, responsive, and genuinely wonderful to deal with — truly an incredible host who made the experience seamless from start to finish.We would absolutely stay again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained place to stay.

Very beautiful apartment in the center of Lyon--close to everything. The host was very welcoming (with a sweet pastry!) and he helped us a lot. When my wife was sick, our host contacted a doctor's office and made the appointment for her! Very kind! Would love to stay at Guillaume's apartment again.

Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Guillaume’s apartment. It ticked all the boxes: very clean, perfect location, comfortable bed and great shower. Plus it is visually stunning. Comfortable stay in Lyon

This property was excellent, very clean, good location for walking to and from events and places. Facilities were all new and functioned perfectly. Host left some extra coffee and items for us to enjoy. Would definately recommend this place to others looking to explore Lyon!

Beautiful apartment in Lyon

This apartment is gorgeous! It is thoughtfully appointed with high quality appliances and fixtures, and a comfortable bed. Being on the top floor, we appreciated the elevator. Guillaume extended a warm welcome and orientation upon our arrival and responded promptly to any subsequent questions we had. The location is within walking distance of most sites (including Old Lyon) and amenities such as groceries, a good boulangerie, and numerous restaurants. We were very sorry to leave, and would love to stay here again.

Outstanding stay

Our two week stay in Guillaume’s apartment was great. He did an outstanding job renovating this apartment. The craftsmanship is first rate. He did a great job blending historic charm with modern conveniences. The place is very well equipped and clean. The location could not be better, just two blocks from the Hotel de Ville square. Many bars and restaurants within blocks. One of the best is La Cuisine on the main floor of the apartment building. Also, don’t miss Kaffe Stockholm right across the street. Great coffee and Swedish pastries. We cannot recommend Guillaume’s apartment enough.

Fantastic apartment in very central location

This is a beautifully renovated apartment in an old building with a ton of character. It's on the top floor with a little balcony that's lovely for soaking up the sun and looking out over the city. The location is ideal for exploring Lyon - so convenient to everything. The host was great and very helpful. The quartier can be noisy at night, so bring earplugs or drown it out with white noise if you're a light sleeper, but other than that, this was the perfect apartment for my 6 weeks living and working in Lyon.

Outstanding apartment

Guillaume has renovated this apartment to the highest standard. Our stay was for 2 weeks and the apartment had everything we needed- the airconditioning, balcony , new bathroom and lift were much appreciated. Location wise, everything is at your doorstep; a car is not needed snd probably a hindrance in Lyon. Guillaume was a lovely host and had thought of everything when renovating. If you need a longer stay, there is a lot of storage and high speed internet.

Lyon Week

This was an excellent Lyon option for us. I cannot express properly our appreciation for our landlord Guillaume who has crafted a beautiful apartment with everything one could ask for. The remodel he performed was obviously a labor of love. He did everything to make sure we would be comfortable and even met us on the way in as the way was blocked for our taxi. The neighborhood had everything we wished for and we enjoyed especially the take out opportunities at the local butchers (Didier ) Boucherie Chalonaise. Valentine was a great wine selector across the street. We loved Lyon!

I love this apartment. Imagine a rental apartment fully equipped where everything worked! Guillaume was thoughtful enough to leave bottled water in the fridge, coffee pods and a sachet of pralines, a specialty of Lyon, as welcome gifts. Guillaume has done a fabulous job designing the apartment with some hi tech features, including radiant floor heating. And there is a binder with instructions for everything down to the Nespresso machine. Most rentals just let you guess! There is a high step from the hallway up to the bathroom/loo area. Perhaps 10 ”. Doable but not comfortable for me at 5’1”. Yet this would not make me hesitate to stay there again! Thank you, Guillaume!

C’est parfait!

My husband and I stayed for 5 days in Guillaume’s incredibly renovated apartment. Our host was helpful and easy to communicate with using WhatsApp and he was genuinely invested in our experience. Such a nice mix of modern convenience and decor with historic charm. Kitchen,with coffee pods and cold water was nice along with linens and shampoo in the bath were appreciated. Comfortable bed and nice heavy drapes to control the light. Location is easily accessible to the metro and walkable to many sites. Lots of great eateries and restaurants nearby and darling ateliers along the street where the apartment is located. We found a grocery easily and boulangeries for morning pastries. Very vibrant area and being on the 5th floor we were not effected by any street noise. Our absolute favorite spot was the cafe table on the balcony to sip on wine purchased on a day trip to the Beaujolais region. We cannot wait to book again!

Misrepresentation

We wanted accommodation with parking on site so we applied the 'parking' filter when booking and this apartment was offered to us. In the owners description, he clearly states; " so leave your car at the property, which offers on site parking". Our interpretation of this was that we would be able to park our car at the property and that parking would be free, as it is with other properties we have booked. We have screen shots of the owners description and of the filters selected, should there be any dispute. When we arrived in the street, the owner directed us to an underground municipal multi storey car park several hundred metres away. We had to pay 81 euros for 64 hours of parking. It was a long way to walk with luggage and food for 3 days and so we had to go back several times. The location is great providing you don't have car. Superficially the apartment appeared clean but there were lots of long black hairs on the shower taps and on the bathroom floor and many cobwebs on the bedroom ceiling and kitchen ceiling. The communal areas are dark and dirty. The check in process was dreadful because we were asked to send texts when leaving our previous destination, then 3 hours before arrival and then 1 hour before arrival in Lyon. Then just after arrival there were more texts with WiFi codes etc. On the day we left the texts started at 7.20am, repeatedly asking us if we had turned everything off. So for us the communication process was irritating.

I am saddened by your comment, because I do not recognize at all our exchanges before and during your quick stay in Lyon and the reality of what you write. Aren't you mistaken? Sorry if my messages and all my efforts were not enough to feel comfortable and comfortable in my apartment which for 2 years has only received compliments.

Super séjour à Lyon.

L'appartement est très bien équipé, très confortable et très propre. La situation géographique est idéale (proche de tous commerces et restaurants). Guillaume était présent à notre arrivée pour nous accueillir et nous donner les informations essentielles. Je recommande.

Magnifique !

Nous avons séjourné dans l’appartement de Guillaume pendant 3 nuits pour la fête des Lumières. C’était parfait ! Très bon accueil de Guillaume qui est très arrangeant et l’appartement est vraiment parfaitement rénové, avec beaucoup de goût et équipé de tout le nécessaire. Et l’emplacement est vraiment IDÉAL pour visiter Lyon, en plein centre, à deux pas de la place des terreaux.. Séjour parfait Merci encore !
