Portland short break

We cannot speak too highly of this holiday property.It is beautifully presented and equipped. Everything has been thought through, and we had a wonderful short break and will not hesitate to book again.Real top quality holiday home. I especially loved the sea views too. Recommend unreservedly.

Great location lovely stay

Lovely bungalow just the right size for a family of 4. The location couldn't be better, close to Weymouth and a seaview.

its our happy place

its the third time we have stayed here and so far been blessed with glorious weather every time. great sea views very quiet at night especially a bonus for us city dwellers. property owner is very easy to get on with and always there to welcome you. We thoroughly recommend this property for a peacful relaxed holiday m and j charman

A little gem

A very comfortable and enjoyable stay and great value for money. Great communication with Lesley, the owner. The bungalow is really well-equipped, clean and well- positioned. We were in the area for a family wedding but would love to come again to enjoy the location, the peace and the sea views.

Lovely clean holiday home

Has everything you need ...kitchen and bathroom are great, feels like everything was thought of to give an enjoyable stay. My kids were very happy with the WiFi and smart TV for the evenings ☺️

Excellent place to stay

Everything about the stay was excellent. The bungalow was spotless and clean and had everything we could need and more. Fully equipped kitchen along with entertainment items (DVD's, Board games etc) was added value. Communication with LEsley was also fantastic.

Very pleasant tranquil stay on Portland

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It has lovely views out over the sea from the living room and the master bedroom. Short distance to Portland Bill, where we saw many wonderful birds on migration. The coastline is striking. We will happily stay again!

Comfortable place, thoughtfully equipped

Lesley has prepared her bungalow with care. It's comfortable and well-positioned with a view over the sea. There's a great walk along the coast from here as well. Crucially for us, the bed was comfortable for a good night's sleep. We cooked here half the time and found everything we needed. If you want to discover the Dorset coast this bungalow is ideal and Lesley wants her guests to feel at home.

Cozy, clean and well appointed.

Was down in Portland for a 3 night stay and having stayed in a hotel before, I thought we'd try a holiday home. Was very pleased with the decision. The bungalow was easy to find, Lesley met us and showed us where everything was and was always just a phone call away. It was so nice to have the freedom of a home from home to be able to come back for a toastie and a chill during your exploring. Will definitely stay again.

Great little get away to recharge

We were meet by lesley at the bungalow after letting her know rough time we would arrive. She had put the heater on to warm us up as it was wet and cold out. She showed us around it has everything you would need for a get away. Fresh clean towels nice fresh bedding on all the beds. Milk and water in the fridge,.She even managed to save us a trip to Weymouth to get gluten-free fish and chips by recommending a local place that delivered. And they were great fresh thick chips. Nice quite location with a fantastic view. Ideal as a base camp if your a walker doing the coastal walks to come back too. Or just to have a relaxing quiet get away like me to recharge. Dosent even matter if its raining like it was in our stay. The accommodation has a tv,games available. But for me quiet happy to sit on the very comfortable sofa look at the ocean and watch the birds. My visit was with my carer i use a walking stick or frame. I didn't check before hand about the suitability. As the pictures online it looked ok. And it was the only issue i did have was the high step in to the bungalow in the front and back of the building nothing to grab onto. Otherwise all level and lovely accommodation. It was our first visit, but it wont be our last .

The property was in an ideal location on Portland. Everything was included for a comfortable stay. The property owner met us on arrival and showed us around. Would recommend to others

Lovely homely bungalow, spotlessly clean. Everything you could need had been of and was supplied, milk & water in fridge on arrival and some lovey chocolates. Lovely views of the sea. Lesley very helpful and responds quickly to messages
