Our stay at Warmwell, Dorchester

The lodge was spacious and the sofas and beds were comfortable. The kitchen was adequate and reasonably well equiped. Having a bathroom with a WC and a separate shower room with a WC was good. Although quite close to other lodges the location was quiet and not too far from the main facilities. However, the lodge was a bit tired and needed some maintenance. None of the 5 internal doors (including the bathroom and shower room) shut properly and the bathroom door did not have a working lock. The front door was also difficult to lock when leaving the lodge. Having booked with one of the very few private owners on the site rather than through Parkdean we were not permitted by Parkdean to book any activities in advance and had to wait until we arrived. This meant that a few activities that our grandchildren would have liked were fully booked. In summary, we and our grandchildren enjoyed the 5 days at the site but it could have been a better experience.

Great location, we enjoyed our stay.
