A Little Gem

This property is most suited to a couple or a family. It is very well appointed, spotlessly clean and is well equipped. There is a garden and a large patio which is a lovely area to come and relax in after days out sightseeing. The only surprising thing about the property was the absence of a smoke alarm or fire extinguisher.

Lovely house by Le Crotoy harbour.

The house looks recently renovated and has most of the things you would need. The house was very clean and tidy with an excellent bathroom and kitchen. The bedrooms are good, but the top bedroom is in the roof space, so you need to make sure you don't bang your head (which is easy to do!). The front room has just a small 2-seater sofa, but we took our camping recliner chairs for TV watching on the wet and windy evenings. The TV is an excellent latest 4K (UHD) smart TV, and we had no problems running our Amazon Fire stick off it. The owner, Mme Derogiere was there to meet us on arrival and kept in touch with us on the Vrbo app at all times. Communication on arrival was tricky because she doesn't speak any English at all and our French is very basic, but it didn't matter - we understood just about! Access to Le Crotoy is just a minute or two walk into the town, but we found that most places were closed from 9 Jan to early Feb for a French holiday season, but the nearest restaurant/bar was open most days and served good, value for money food. There is also a Carrefour very close by which has everything you would need. Easy to park and store our bicycles. You need to pay extra for bed linen and towels, which was not advertised, but there was no cleaning bill which is often an extra in France. I can recommend this house and its location for a short stay.

Auch im Winter eine Empfehlung

Wir haben über Weihnachten eine Woche in Le Crotoy verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, alles war sehr sauber. Fischliebhaber kommen in den zahlreichen Restaurants im Ort auf ihre Kosten. Die Umgebung lädt zu vielen Ausflügen ein.

Fijn verblijf!

Heel leuk huisje, goede voorzieningen, prima en modern gerenoveerd, alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. Voor ons doel fantastische ligging, op korte loopafstand van het centrum van Le Crotoy. Hele leuke uitgebreide markt 2x per week voor je neus op de dijk, wat wil een vrouw nog meer? Ik zou er zo weer heen gaan!

Erholsame Wochen an der Somme

Wir waren zwei Wochen in dem schönen Fischerhäuschen am Yachthafen von Le Crotoy und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Besonders gefallen haben uns die ruhige Lage, die Nähe zum Ortskern und zum Wasser. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Belle semaine en Baie de Somme

Belle maison avec de nombreux équipements dans un excellent emplacement pour explorer les magnifiques environs. En raison du temps chaud, il faisait en fait trop chaud dans la maison et un climatiseur mobile pour la zone de couchage était en fait nécessaire. Nous aurions préféré 2 lits simples plutôt qu'un lit double pas trop large. Hautement recommandé.

Très beau gîte idéalement situé

Séjours très agréable. Le gîte est conforme à la description. Il est proche de tout mais au calme malgré tout. En été, la terrasse et le jardin doivent être top. Seul bémol : les dimensions des lits 2 personnes.
