Awesome little house, Very Central and very cosy, very quiet and nicely furnished, perfect place for a getaway. Since I have found this place I don't look any further when staying in Taupo. As the title says a lovely home when away from home.

Family catch up

Came to Taupo for the Berm Buster motorcycle event over 2 days, this was an awesome place to stay, especially the location, and the fact it had a double garage to store the bikes in was a winner for sure. Highly recommend.

Taupo home away from home

This property was better than we had expected. It felt homely and inviting and secure it was warm and clean and tidy and in a central location. This house was everything we could have hoped for. We will certainly be booking this venue in the future. Thank you to the owners.

Fantastic Location

A well presented, clean & tidy property. I was worried I would be cold, but the heat pump and Skope heaters warmed the place very quickly. Very comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen and good size lounge. Highly recommend.

Great location - there were a few things not up to scratch - the bathroom wasn’t very clean and the house had a terrible musty smell to it! Could do with a bit of an update.

Conference Weekend.

Our conference was at the Great Lake Conference Centre so the location was perfect, just down the road, only five minutes. The property is a little dated, but true to the photos. However, it was very comfortable for a three day stay. Also, the communication with the property manager was brilliant. Easy and timely. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Taupo 5 day stay

The property was v well located, close to town / lake / major roads. It was well equipped for our needs. One comment would be in the ' Clear File a list of instructions for how to operate 1) TV / Sky 2) microwave, 3 radio clock would have been v helpful. The property manager was easy to contact and quite amenable to us leaving an hour later than usual, due one of us being unwell. We will probably come back to this house sometime in the future, but when it is warmer e.g. Autumn or Spring
