Come relax in our family home.
Freshly renovated, clean and tidy.

Perfect for starting the day off with a morning coffee and breakfast on the deck, then stroll down to the beach with your surf board, umbrella and magazine till lunch. An afternoon siesta then a beer or wine on the sun drenched decks for an evening BBQ with friends and family.

House fully fenced and safe with a good trampoline and swing set, slide, and gymnastic rings for the kids.

Large Bayfair mall, parks, skate park, takeaways, dairy and medical centres within a short walk. Much loved family home with indoor chalk wall, kids toys, large laundry area, and open plan living.
Popular Cafes a longer walk or short car ride, and a 7km drive along the beachfront to Mount Maunganui itself for gorgeous walks, hot pools and delicious ice creams.

This house is central to everything, so also a 5km drive to Papamoa Domain. Kids are easily entertained at nearby bay wave pools and Bayfair mall on those rainy days too!
We love this house and feel lucky to be raising our family here. Cant wait for you to enjoy it too.

Family loved this home

Our family absolutely loved our stay here. The house had everything we needed, very clean, and the location meant we could walk to many places when we wanted, enjoyed use of the deck too. Couldn’t ask for better hosts, great communication and just good people. We would highly recommend and will definitely stay again!

Perfect place for our family. Great location very close to the beach for morning walks, with a great cafe a stone’s throw away. House very well-equipped. Our kids especially enjoyed the trampoline, the board games and the abundance of books for all ages and interests. With a pool, bbq and deck there’s nothing lacking!A couple of small notes: we found street parking sometimes difficult as spots were often taken and we had to park a little further away. Daycare across the street is slightly noisy if you’re looking for a quiet morning coffee on the deck, and lastly unfortunately only one bedroom had a comfortable mattress.

Fabulous home in the mount

The home was perfect for our whanau. We loved our stay at Ruth and Jacobs home in Omanu beach. The location is exellent and we loved the the indoor oitdoor flow making it easy to enjoy kai on the lovely outdoor deck. Walking distance to the beach highly recommend. and all other moamenities.

Fab spot for a beach getaway with friends + kids

Brilliant and spacious house with everything you need to cook and entertain 3 little ones (4,2 and 1) Check in was really easy and communication with Ruth was brilliant. Our first few days we had rain but there was a big blue toy box filled with exciting things for the boys and also Baywave swimming pool was short drive away. Kitchen had everything you needed, with it being their home you didn't have to worry if there was enough plates or kids bowls etc - although took us a bit to figure out the oven but we got there in the end! Beach is 5 min walk away and we got a beautiful day and went twice for big swims and hangs between naps. Would highly recommend staying here, we were two small families and it worked perfectly for us.

First trip to the Mount

Owners super clear communication. Property as per description. Plenty of room for a family of 5. Front garden great for kids and safe. Beach is really close as mentioned and takeaway/pharmacy and superette close by. Large shopping mall within 10 mins drive. Only suggestion for improvement, is to have a welcome pack to help first time travellers to the Mount use the owners knoweldge of good restaurants, walking tacks, takeaways and things to go and try etc. Yes we can google but google takaways doesnt tell us a good one. Trivial but just a suggestion. Thanks for hosting us

House was very clean & comfortable. We all slept well - beds were comfortable & the street quiet. The hrv cooling the house at night was nice. Very close to the beach and convenient to Bayfair to get groceries. We would stay here again.

Well looked after house, close to everything you need.. beach 2 minute walk, shops just down the road. Away from the madness the mt can have over Xmas although only a quick drive if you want get in there. Ruth was lovely to deal with. I would definitely stay there again.
