Group of friends for an event

All was slightly dated as to be expected, worst thing was the lower bathroom sink did not drain well. Overall stay was exceptional. Would definitely consider to stay again. Thanks guys

Home away from home

A great couple nights stay, excellent layout with the teenagers, their own space to hangout. Good location, short walk to local shops, great takeaways and pub. Lake at the end of the road, the kids had a blast, next time we need to stay longer.

Great location

A group of our friends stayed to do some adventures in and around Taupo. The house was comfortable and in a great location to access the lake, supermarket, restaurants and other attractions. Easy to find and affordable when shared with the group. Decently sized rooms with ample bathroom facilities for a large group

Our weekend away

Was a great place to stay, would stay there again. The only downside is that you have to take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave, unless you are leaving on a Thursday morning. No mention of this when booking. The last place we booked (about 3 km up the road) had bins and bags for this, not sure why this place does not. Bit of a pain having to sort this, other than that all good.

Good Large family holiday home

We enjoyed our weekend away but felt the house need a good extra clean. Food on the couches under the cushions. Good vacuum needed under furniture, beds and we had to re wash the plates as they were dirty. The roasting dish in the oven was also dirty. Bathrooms were clean. Place is tidy and great for our family.

Great location, plenty of off-street parking (for big vehicles/trailers). House well appointed, ideal for large family or groups like ours, with several bathrooms and endless hot water. Would have been great if the log burner central heating was up and running (found instructions on-line but no power connected to operate pump system). Heat pumps eventually warmed the house (June stay). Would definitely stay again. Peter B

The house is huge.

The house is huge. Accommodated 2 families comfortably allowing both families to have their own personal space. Location is great, very quiet inside the house. The interior needs some work/maintenance, pillows are stained (need replacing), Shortage of blankets, several cockroaches in the house/bedrooms (alive) and the vacuum cleaner has not been cleaned in a very long time. Wifi present in the house but not turned on. Would stay again of the above was fixed

The property location is ideal being close to the lake and offers nice views from the living areas. I think the two things which need addrsssing are the pillow quality and the lack of internet access which is clearly installed but not available to guests. This is very important for overseas visitors. The pillows were very old and covered in saliva stains and brown marks??? The pillows which were clean were very cheap, thin and as good as useless. A good nights sleep is everything!!!
