Rental was very good it felt like staying in a hotel as provided all the necessary items you need for a holiday
Would use this again for a get away as lots of room for families with children close to the sea
We stayed here for one night and enjoyed our time here. Very handy to Curio Bay and with a great little cafe just up the road the other direction. Beds comfy, and kitchen well stocked. Great communication with owner, very easy and enjoyable stay.
Superbe maison, totalement équipée, un havre où nous avons pu nous réchauffer après des balades venteuses! Grand confort!

Very friendly and communicative owner.
Very friendly and communicative owner.
The property was very clean and well serviced with every facility necessary within a home environment.
All you need are food and liquid supplies as there are no facilities for such within easy reach, and there are no phone or internet connection.
A luxury hideaway that I would highly recommend.

All good.
All good. It was a bit of a problem though to have neither internet nor phone signal. We ended up sitting outside the museum next door to pay and use their hotspot, as we were touring and needed to confirm further bookings ahead.
It would have been nice to have some small coffee cups- and egg cups!

Hi, thanks for the egg cup idea. As regards to the internet, it is terribly expensive, as we would have to put in a satilitte dish then pay @$80 for 5GB!!! We are waiting and hoping for another cellphone tower to go in down near Waikawa. Rural internet can be a nightmare in isolated areas. If you come back again we may be up to date with technology, heres hoping. Happy travels.

My husband and I farm locally on a sheep farm, we run 2100 breeding ewes, and winter 300 dairy cows. We have two teenage boys who weekly board in Invercargill.
Why they chose this property
We think our house provides a beautiful quite setting for larger groups or just a couple. Everyone who has stayed has enjoyed the peaceful location and love the native bird song. Still very handy to all the local attractions, this modern, clean and warm hose is ideal. I am developing the gardens to be easy care with mass planting, and may retire here myself.
