Comfortable, Quiet and self-contained guest suite is ideal for couples, friends traveling together, or someone working in Auckland for several weeks or months.

About 700 m from the Scarbro Tennis Courts, 30 minutes from the airport by car/shuttle . Near Meadowbank and Kohimarama &GI. Bus stop outside the property provides regular services to Auckland’s CBD (25 min), Newmarket (15 min), and to the local train station (3 min). The train station is a 10 minute walk ,the train trip into Britomart station in Downtown Auckland (13 min) takes the scenic Tamaki Drive route. Uber fare to the Auckland CBD is around $20. An accessible parking space is also available. About a 5 minute drive from Pak & Save and 2 Countdowns.

Guests have their own completely self-contained space consisting of a lounge, bedroom with king bed/ kitchenette, and private bathroom with shower. The kitchenette is equipped for light cooking only, with tea and coffee provided. No Stove or hot plate. A microwave/Convection oven is provided. A private patio area is furnished for al fresco dining. The office alcove and access high-speed fiber internet access makes this an ideal temporary work space. Close to supermarkets and shopping centers, as well as to beaches, cafes, restaurants, the beautiful Eastern Bays, and several scenic outlooks. You will have complete privacy in your self contained unit, but we will be available to help you in anyway possible. Special conditions: Check-in between 4 and 10 PM; Check out by 10AM. No smoking; not suitable for pets; no parties or events; Extras: Cleaning (Required, NZ$90.00 per stay); Linen (included); Cleaning for longer visits (one month more or more) (Required, NZ$90.00 per 2 weeks)
Parking for one small car on JAKMAT between the hedge &common Driveway. If you cannot park WHEELS OFF THE COMMON DRIVEWAY, parking on the Road.

A wonderful stay with warm and inviting managers. Highly recommended ! Great central location with easy access to shops. Suited Me Perfectly

The premises served me well during a weeklong stay; it is close to where I grew up 60 years ago; it was a weeklong stay. It is spacious, well equipped and quiet. Is on a bus route; has off-street parking. The private yard is shared with the hosts, who were infrequestly in it. When called upon Mildred and Roy were very helpful.

Neat and clean, lovely hosts

My flight was delayed so i arrived after midnight but host made me feel immediately welcomed even at that hour. Premises was clean and had all the facilities i needed. One day they even brought a hone cooked meal to me and offered to drive me locally to shops etc as i was without a car. Lovely people , very respectful and friendly.

St Johns Convenience

Private, comfortable, spacious accommodation located underneath owner's residence. It had everything I needed and I will definitely stay here again. It was within walking distance of where I needed to be. Check in process was easy. I appreciated the extra touches such as fruit bowl, snacks and the umbrella discreetly left at the door when rain was apparent. Roy and Mildred were lovely and keen to offer assistance should I need it. Driveway to my accommodation was well lit at night and room also has an alarm system. Thanks Roy and Mildred, I really enjoyed my time there

The hosts are the most friendliest and accommodating people I have met! The Bach is cozy and has ALL the amenities, with a really convenient and central place in the city. There's off street parking, an alarm for when you have to step out, and best of all. The most cutest garden to relax and enjoy, I would definitely recommend and hope to stay again! Just wish I had had more time to spend there!

We spent a couple of weeks at the property, it was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. We particularly appreciated the separate living room. Very reasonable price. Roy and Mildred were nice and helpful. Since the house is not really well insulated you can hear the noise from upstairs (footsteps, conversations), but it's not a big problem.

The house is professionally insulated for sound. One of the couple works a day job and the other a night job. During the day, there would be audible sounds when people walk past or during lawn mowing etc. The flat was lift very dirty and the couple's friend even repeatedly damaged our border hedge with reckless driving.

Lovely setting, friendly people

Very peaceful, good space to stretch out and comfy beds!! We chose this place as it is 650m from Scarbro Tennis centre where my son was playing a tennis tournament and it also had a desk and chair for me to work from which was great for business and spacious lounge for pleasure. All the TV channels to you wish for were available and the people were very friendly and helpful, they even gave us a bottle of wine and various groceries! thanks. Only issue was the shower ran cold sometimes and fell out of its catch but the rest of the place was ideal and very comfortable! Thank you we will be back!
