The property was just as advertised and in such a great location. My husband our small dog thoroughly enjoyed the house and the lookout. Could easily have had room for another couple or kids. The kitchen was very well equipped.

The house was beautiful: gorgeous light and views from the windows. Very comfortable. Kitchen was extremely well appointed for real cooking. Bathroom was spacious with a great shower. Thanks for a great experience!

Beautiful property set in a secluded, peaceful location. Well stocked with everything you need. We enjoyed exploring the area and having this property to return to at the end of the day.

This was a fantastic property! Modern, super clean, very functional, exceptional layout and very well stocked with all you could need. The deck attached to the house provided amazing views and a great space to relax. Then once you dropped down to the lower deck you were transported to your own seaside oasis where you could listen to the waves crash on the rocks and just watch the world slide by. It was amazing! Thanks to Stacey and the crew for providing us just what we needed

After 10 days road tripping and exploring Vancouver Island, we were looking forward to settling in one place for several days and wanted peaceful seclusion in a really nice setting. That is what we got. The house was modern and comfortable in a very quiet neighborhood. We had a view of the strait from indoors, The property ran to the shore and topography separated us from the neighbors. Below the house on a built lookout, we could walk down a trail to be right on the rocky shore watching waves and hearing the ocean. We had the seclusion/privacy, the beautiful setting, and the well appointed house that we sought. One note: access to the house is up a long flight of stairs from the driveway. If you have any physical mobility issues, this rental might not be a good fit for you.

Beautiful, modern, and very clean property with truly stunning ocean views. The home itself was peaceful and well laid out, and we really enjoyed the setting. The only challenges we experienced were that the tap water appeared brown during our stay, and the driveway was quite tight and difficult to navigate with a larger vehicle. Overall, a great place with a few practical considerations to be aware of.

Beautiful home, very clean and contained everything we needed. Views are amazing and it was just a great place to unwind and relax. The owners do note that the stairs to the home are steep as well as the driveway. So carrying luggage up and down, walking up and down can be hard on some. We didn’t have any issues with the height. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cliffside Hideaway! It felt like a private retreat being tucked away in nature and so close to the water. Stunning ocean views from both decks and forest views from the windows. Located close to French Beach (perfect for sunset) and nearby hiking trails along the coast. The house is beautifully designed and has top of the line appliances and features, with everything you need in the kitchen to cook. We loved the wooden vaulted ceilings and skylights, and the heated flooring! Note that there are many stairs to get into the house and it is located on the top of a hill if you are someone who experiences mobility challenges. We highly recommend staying here and cannot wait to come back!
