Me and my partner stayed for a week at one of the yurts at Glacier Valley Farm and it was the best. If you love animals, this is a great spot to stay. Parking was right in front of the bison enclosure, so we started our trip admiring these fuzzy guys and one baby too! At the yurt area, we were greeted by the friendliest and silliest pair of pony's we've ever met. The farm had chickens, bunnies, baby emus, goats, smallish deer-looking guys, horses, a peahen, a llama, and a bunch of dogs who made our trip quite unforgettable. We found ourselves falling in love with all the animals and we're so thrilled to see how friendly and well taken care of they were. Amenities at the yurt was plentiful-- from boiling water and a cozy heater, to a mini fridge-- we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The view from the yurt was beautiful, with a view of glaciers behind the farm. The staff were kind, friendly, and helpful, making sure we knew where we could find them if we needed anything. Super comfortable and relaxing little gem of a stay in BC. Would highly recommend for folks travelling through. If you go, please pet Snoopy and Tank for us!
