If you're looking for simplicity our small holiday home is just what you need. A cosy fire place, with a modern kitchen and bathroom with gas hot water and cook tops. A lovely sized main bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, and a small room with bunk beds for the extras!
There is a fenced deck overlooking the estuary and a nice section with a sandpit for the kids to enjoy while you're relaxing on the deck. The location is private yet central to all that Papatōwai has to offer.
Papatōwai has art galleries, excellent coffee and exceptional food! For outdoor activities think quiet walks along the beach, estuary or through native forest. There is safe swimming in the estuary or excellent surfing and boogie boarding at nearby Tautuku beach. There are excellent Aurora Australis viewing locations just minutes away, and fishing and hunting opportunities all year round (permits required).
There is bird song in every direction, and you can view native wood pigeon/ kereru feeding on the kōwhai trees from the deck.
