Our property is situated in the prestigious Bird Area, an exclusive suburb of Taupo by the lake. You’ll be just 5 minutes from the CBD’s attractions and 10 minutes from the Wairakei area to the north and the airport to the south.

Taupo is a fantastic spot in the heart of New Zealand's North Island, known for its breathtaking scenery and endless outdoor fun. Sitting on the edge of Lake Taupo, the country’s biggest lake, it’s a perfect place for both relaxation and adventure.

The lake itself is a major highlight. Whether you're into tranquil boat rides, kayaking, or thrilling water sports, there's something for everyone. It’s also a prime fishing spot, famous for its rainbow and brown trout. Plus, the lakefront is great for walking or biking, letting you soak up those gorgeous views.

Taupo is also surrounded by some incredible natural wonders. The area is part of the Taupo Volcanic Zone, which means you’ve got bubbling hot springs, mud pools, and geysers all around. Our property offers secure parking within the gates for up to 4 vehicles, and additional street parking is available. Bikes are a fantastic way to get around Taupo, and from our location, it's a convenient 10-minute flat walk to town along the scenic lakefront, or via Mere Rd and Te Heu Heu Street.

Both indoor and outdoor dining tables comfortably seat 10-12 people, making it perfect for gatherings.

The second lounge/playroom includes an additional TV and a selection of toys and books for children.

The main TV features SKY Sports and Netflix, while the playroom TV offers Netflix.
