Relax with the whole family at this ocean view farmhouse. On the edge of the escarpment, Macksville Cottage sleeps 10 guests in 4 bedrooms (three with queen beds and one bunk room with 4 singles). There are 3 large bathrooms (one an ensuite). An older home with two eating areas (plus multiple outdoor dining options), lounge with a cozy fire, and large windows bringing the outdoors in. Set amongst historical rainforest, kids will love exploring the garden and feeding the chooks. The property is a couple of minutes' drive from Robertson, ten minutes to the Illawarra Fly Treetop Walk and 30 minutes to Jamberoo Action Park. Macksville Cottage is the perfect base to explore the New South Wales Southern Highlands and Kangaroo Valley.

We stayed at Macksville Cottage over the weekend and had such a wonderful experience. The space was clean, comfortable, and beautifully presented. The hosts were friendly and thoughtful, making sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect for exploring, and it truly felt like a home away from home. We’d happily stay again and highly recommend it!

A Beautiful Home

We had a wonderful time at this place. Kids enjoyed the trampoline, the forest, and feeding the chickens. There’s plenty of books and toys as well. Adults enjoyed the cozy house, its stylish decor and the fantastic view. Pam and her husband are very accomodating and helpful hosts. Thank you, and we would like to go back again in the future.
