I stayed here from Aug 3-6 with my husband, our adult son & his GF, our adult daughter, and 4 dogs, and it was the ideal set-up for our group. This is a full-size house across a laneway from the water. While the water didn't look appealing for getting in for a swim, the area itself is very picturesque. The homes in the area look to be a mixture of year-round homes and cottages and it was only around a 10-min drive to get into "downtown" Shediac. On the main floor was the kitchen/dining room, a large living room with a big TV, bedroom, full bath with shower and the full-size washer & dryer. Upstairs was another living room with TV, a bedroom with bunkbeds, bathroom with a large jet tub, and the primary bedroom with another large jetted tub. Also on the main level was a lovely screened in front porch and out the back a deck and fenced backyard, with a screened gazebo. We loved having so much room and it was so easy with the dogs. There was a heat pump on each level which was needed as it was very hot during our stay (mid-30s C). We discovered it was best to keep the doors open at night, otherwise the bedrooms would get hot through the night. I had brought some cooking supplies with me, but the house had a full complement of dishes, pots, pans, etc. There were loads of towels and facecloths, and lots of room for us all to stretch out or to sit together as desired. Communication with the property mgr & owners was super quick. A great stay!
