About the home
“Ripples” is a delightful single-storey family home in Coronet Bay just a comfortable walk from the beach and general store, and a short drive to the supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of San Remo. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The central hallway provides access to Bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 (each with BIR), a Laundry (with washing machine), a Bathroom (with shower, bath & toilet) and through to the large open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living Room (with 55" smart TV, Coonara-style wood heater & some games & toys for the kids). Bedroom 1 is at the rear of the home and has BIR and an ensuite (with shower, toilet & double vanity). A rear covered Alfresco is accessed from the Living Room.
Outdoor Areas
The rear covered Alfresco (with gas BBQ & seating for 8) overlooks the enclosed rear yard, which is perfect for children and pets and also features an outdoor shower. The Garage is not for guest use, however the driveway provides space for up to 3 vehicles (cars and/or a boat) with additional parking available on the street.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There is a wall mounted reverse cycle air conditioner in the Kitchen/Dining/Living room, ceiling fans in all 4 Bedrooms, plus four additional stand-alone heaters which can be used where required. There is a Coonara-style wood heater in the Living Room (some wood provided to get you started).
Bedding Configuration
This home has 5 beds, accommodating up to 9 guests:
Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: One Queen bed
Bedroom 3: One Queen bed and one Cot
Bedroom 4: One Tri-bunk
Please note: The Tri-bunk has a double bed base with a single bed above it.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
