Built in 2019 and located just 3 miles from town, this cabin offers peace and quiet along the Arkansas River. A charming porch facing the south allows for amazing views of sunsets, deer, turkeys, cattle, and horses. Full kitchen and outdoor grill make for great meals. Open floor plan with rustic decor. Clean and modern.

This one is becoming increasingly more rare every month -- a place that is just as advertised, nothing less. It was perfect for our short stay (men on a hunting trip) but would be equally perfect if our wives joined us. Well stocked kitchen with appliances, cookware and utensils and a very clean cabin. It's a perfectly functional, unique little cabin that was everything we needed and quiet.

We came out to the area to complete some work on a research project. We just wanted a nice quiet place to stay as we worked early and long hours. Their home was everything we needed and a nice cozy place to rest. We enjoyed watching the ranchers work some cattle on horseback and the serenity of being just outside of Lamar. We plan to stay again for our next work trip.

We use this place anytime we head to Colorado from the East. Perfect secure location with close access to town for eating and grocery shopping. Booked already for our next trip. Highly recommend.

I spent nearly a week here to unwind and relax. It was perfect. The cabin was clean, large, and had everything I needed. The hosts were gracious and communicative. I’d definitely come back!
