Experience the charm of one of Nelson’s most character-filled homes, ideally located on leafy Nile Street - one of the city’s oldest and most sought-after neighbourhoods. Just a 6-minute stroll to the CBD, Maitai River, and the Centre of New Zealand Reserve, this peaceful spot offers the perfect balance of tranquillity and convenience, with cafés, shops, walking trails, and swimming holes all within easy reach.
Originally built in the 1930s, this classic wooden bungalow blends timeless character with relaxed comfort. Inside, a warm, easygoing layout create an inviting atmosphere. Step outside to enjoy a fully fenced section featuring a sun-drenched, partially enclosed veranda, seasonal gardens, generous off-street parking, and a vinyl-lined in-ground pool - perfect for cooling off on a sunny Nelson day.
Ideal for families, couples, or professionals, the home offers a private and well-positioned base in central Nelson. The pool and fully fenced yard make it a great choice for families, while nature lovers will appreciate the easy access to river tracks, mountain biking trails, and nearby golf courses. Designed for relaxed living, this is a place to unwind and feel at home.

No party or venue use. No Smoking.
Pets - By special written permission only, small pets may be allowed - please contact us with details of your pet so this can be discussed. Special terms and a $50 pet fee will apply.
Personal home - This home is made available to guests on an occasional basis & is occupied by the property owners at other times. As a result, you'll enjoy access to a superbly equipped home with the minor trade-off that you may see some personal items & that some spaces may be dedicated to the storage of owner belongings.
Swimming Pool Use - Use of the swimming pool is not permitted after 10pm due to local regulations and the proximity of neighbouring properties that may be affected by noise.
**Payment, Bond/Security Deposit and Cancellation**:
- A 30% deposit secures your stay with the balance due 3 weeks prior to your arrival (full payment will be required if booking within 3 weeks of arrival).
- Three weeks prior to your arrival (or immediately if booking within 3 weeks of arrival), you’ll need to provide a card authority for the bond/security deposit via our secure online check in process.
- Cancel anytime up until 3 weeks prior to arrival for any reason and you’ll pay no more than 30% of the booking total.
- Where compassionate circumstances for cancellation exist, we’ll be happy to look at further flexibility, usually in the form of postponement of your stay, or a credit towards future stay dates.
- A Rental Agreement document is provided as part of the booking process. Please refer to the agreement for full terms and conditions. :-)
