Algiers Point is the second oldest neighborhood in New Orleans. It is situated right across the Mississippi River from the French Quarter. The Point is a historic tight-knit community. The unique neighborhood has a beach town vibe (minus the beach). There are wonderful restaurants, cafes and bars walking distance from the studio.

Algiers Point has a way of slowing things down - gas-lit streets, front-porch conversations, and the low hum of river life just beyond the levee. This ground-floor loft drops you into the heart of that energy, a thoughtfully designed space where classic New Orleans character meets the ease of modern living.

Living space
Natural light moves through the open layout, catching the warm tones of the interior and the small details that make the space feel personal rather than generic. The living area anchors around a 65-inch Smart TV loaded with HBO Max, Apple TV, Chromecast, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and Amazon Prime Video - but the record player with its curated vinyl crate and the shelf of books give you something the algorithm can't. A dedicated workspace with desk and table keeps things functional if you're traveling with a laptop.

Sleeping arrangements
The king bed is dressed in cotton linens and layered with extra pillows and blankets, with room-darkening shades pulling the space into full dark when you need it. The open footprint keeps the bedroom connected to the rest of the loft without feeling crowded - a layout that works whether you're winding down early or staying up late.

Kitchen & dining
The full kitchen is stocked for real cooking - refrigerator, freezer, Whirlpool electric stove, oven, microwave, toaster, drip coffee maker, hot water kettle, cooking basics, dishes and silverware, wine glasses, and a baking sheet. Coffee is included. Pull up to the dining table for a proper meal, or keep it casual on the couch before heading out to explore.

Bathroom & essentials
The private bathroom has a stand-up shower and is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and shower gel. Fresh towels, a hair dryer, iron, hangers, and clothing storage round out the essentials.

Location
The neighborhood does a lot of the heavy lifting here. Walk to local cafes and Barracuda tacos, or follow the river path for Mississippi views. The $2 Algiers ferry is a short stroll away - two minutes on the water and you're stepping off into the French Quarter, with Bourbon Street, Frenchmen Street jazz clubs, and the full sweep of the city within easy reach. Free parking is available both on the premises and on the street.

Additional details
The loft is pet-friendly and fully single-level. Self check-in via smart lock makes arrival seamless. Central air conditioning, central heating, and a ceiling fan handle the climate year-round. The home includes exterior security cameras at the entry door, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, a fire extinguisher, and a first aid kit. Luggage drop-off and long-term stays are welcome.

Please note: No parties, no unregistered guests, and no smoking. Any attempt to host a party of any kind will result in immediate termination of the stay with no refund.
