The Countess Central Heritage in Launceston
Let the Countess take care of you and yours during your stay in the beautiful city of Launceston. Brimming with heritage charm and updated with modern conveniences, this engaging home has everything you need for a memorable visit.
The Countess is a gem that certainly stands apart from the other humble duplex cottages in her cottage row. She has been fully renovated in a modern aesthetic whilst still giving a big nod to her heritage charm.
Adjoining the open plan kitchen and living area are two bedrooms, laundry and bathroom.
A small fully secured courtyard features an outdoor dining table and BBQ allowing you to enjoy Tasmania`s clean air.
You will have the entire home to yourself.
A few days before your arrival, we will send detailed instructions for a seamless self-check-in using the smart lock.
You will also have access to two designated carparks, accessible via the laneway.
We are available by phone from 8 am to 8 pm if you have any urgent questions during your stay. For non-urgent questions please message us through the Airbnb portal
Please please let me know as soon as you can if there are any issues at all so I have a chance to take the appropriate action to ensure your stay is it should be - totally stress-free and relaxing!!
There is public transport in the Launceston area or there are plenty of local attractions that are within walking distance of The Countess. The city does also have scooters available for public use. You will need to download the Beam app to use these.

City Noise: As the property is centrally located near the CBD and a hospital, please expect some ambient city noise, which may include traffic, street crossings, and sirens.
Property Access: Before your arrival, we will share a detailed house guide with instructions on how to access the property, use appliances, and other helpful information.
Accessibility: The house is single story. There is flight of stairs from the front entrance and a smaller set at the back of the house.
Noise Monitoring: For the comfort of our neighbors, the property is equipped with noise decibel monitoring devices. These devices do not record audio, they only measure sound levels.
