Spacious, welcoming holiday home in Patons Rock, just a stone’s throw from the beach. Sleeps up to eight guests in the main house and adjacent sunny sleepout. Relaxed open plan living with a fully-equipped kitchen, comfortable seating. French doors open onto two decks to catch the morning and late afternoon / evening sun. Two bedrooms in the house and two in the sleepout. Each space has its own bathroom. Enjoy the large private garden with mature trees, birdsong and plenty of room for ball games or chilling out.



The Space:

Walk into our inviting bach designed for that laid-back holiday feeling. The easy flow between kitchen, dining and living areas extends through to the two decks. We have games, books, children’s toys, and a smart TV for your enjoyment.



The light-filled upstairs queen bedroom looks across farmland to Parapara Peak while the downstairs twin bedroom opens onto the west-facing deck. A few steps away, the sleepout has a comfortable queen bedroom, a bunkroom, bathroom facilities and a laundry with a new washer and drier.



Outside, kids can play on the large flat lawn and among the trees. Note that a stream runs along the rear boundary.



Spacious and comfortable, this is the perfect base for enjoying beautiful Patons Rock beach and exploring Mohua/Golden Bay.

The Neighborhood:

Patons Rock is one of Mohua/Golden Bay’s most desirable beach communities. The house is a two-minute walk to the beach where the long stretch of pristine sand and calm waters invite leisurely walking, swimming and kayaking. It is safe for children, ideal for families of all ages.



Despite the relaxed feel of the neighbourhood, you’re only a short drive from Tākaka’s shops, services and cafés. Patons Rock is well located for visiting Collingwood, Wharariki Beach, Farewell Spit (Onetahua) to the west; and Waikoropupū Springs, Pōhara and Wainui Falls to the east. The location also provides convenient access to Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks.
