Treetop Retreat is in Coosawattee River Resort

If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful mountain retreat than you have found your spot. Our Treetop Retreat is the absolute perfect mountain getaway and is non smoking cabin. With its mountain views and floor-to-ceiling knotty pine walls it is the definition of a what a mountain cabin looks like. On the approach to the cabin you are greeted with a cement driveway with plenty of parking and a beautiful front porch with outdoor swing. Once you enter the cabin to the right is a very spacious living room with a set of comfy couches, a large screen TV, and rustic stone fireplace. On the other side of the first floor we have our kitchen and dining room areas. This kitchen is equipped with everything to prepare your family a delicious home cooked meal. It has matching stainless steel appliance and cute center island that can be used as a breakfast bar. The large dining room table that can seat six adults comfortably sits close by in the dining room area. Also on the main floor we have a half bath in the hallway. There is a large covered and screened in porch area with another outdoor dining table to enjoy your meals outside on a cool fall night. The covered deck also has some outdoor patio furniture to sit back and relax in and maybe catch a deer strolling by. As we head upstairs we will find our 2 bedrooms. The king master suite has its own smart flat screen TV and a private screened in deck with a bistro table and chairs. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds and another full bathroom across the hall. The lower level has a ping pong table, laundry area, and covered deck with outdoor patio furniture. The outdoor yard has a wonderful outdoor fire pit to enjoy a camp fire and smores with the family. All in all if your looking for a quiet relaxing mountain getaway than look no further because our Treetop Retreat fits the bill. Make your reservation today!

Tranquil Retreat Cabin

We loved the location and the privacy this cabin offers. The cabin was clean and well stocked with dishes and utensils. The view was beautiful and we were able to see the sunset through the trees from the top floor balcony. The roads up to the cabin were good for any vehicle and it was only a short drive to town. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

Cute cabin, but a little rough around the edges. Cleaning crew needs to do a deep dive- spider webs everywhere and dusty. Also some dirty dishes in the cabinet with food still on them.

A nice get-away Cabin in the woods

This was a last minute decision to go to the blue ridge mountains for a little getaway. The cabin is easy to get to, has wonderful views and is situated in a quiet part of the gated community. We have nothing but great things to say. Don’t hesitate to book this cabin and enjoy your stay!!!

Beautiful Cabin! Very clean upon arrival and directions were clearly marked for the TV/thermostat etc.. The neighborhood was quiet with scenic views and occasional wildlife sightings. The property is close to shopping and downtown.

Christmas getaway

We really enjoyed our stay, especially watching deer walk past the house and graze in the yard in the mornings and evenings. House was very comfortable with a country decor. We really enjoy cooking and found the kitchen to be pretty well stocked. Could have used a larger wood cutting board.

Best GA Mountains stay EVER!

Our family has been visiting the Ellijay-Blue Ridge-Blairsville area for 20+ years and this was the BEST visit we’ve ever had! From the location of the cabin to the ease of and welcome to bring our dog to the seven deer who spent a large amount of time daily grazing over the property - it was awesome!! We visited almost ever park in the neighborhood and thoroughly enjoyed unwinding, soaking in nature and just hanging out at the cabin. The cabin was generously supplied with every amenity we could possibly need or want.

Fantastic retire

Needed a place to do a workation. Wanted to feel remote but not far from the town so that we can go out to dinner and bike rides. Kitchen is mega fully way super stock with devices, pots, pans etc. Internet was 30Mbps, which is perfect for the work we were doing.

Very Pretty Cabin

We loved this cabin. Had everything we needed including deer in the backyard alot. However, it snowed on 12/26/22 and we were stuck at the cabin for 2 days because the hill is steep and it turned to ice. There was not a shovel at the cabin. But the Host let us have another night stay which was very nice. We loved the cabin - very beautiful with a wonderful view and a nice fireplace and TV's. Just beautiful.

So many deer!

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights to visit my daughter in Georgia. This is the first time staying in North Georgia and we loved it. The cabin was so nice and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. The deer were outside the cabin every morning and evening - large groups of 5-6 including fawns. The cabin was in a very quiet area - loved it. We are from Florida so the driveway was a little scary for us at first but once you figure it out - not so bad. We are not used to such steep inclines - everything is flat by us. We would definitely stay here again - hoping we can schedule something for next year.

Deer Watching

This is a lovely property! The cabin was clean, nicely decorated and well stocked with all the necessary items. It's private and the location was perfect for going in and out of Ellijay and other nearby attractions. We had so much fun watching all the deer that wandered by several time each day!! Only wish the driveway was easier to get in and out of. The incline of the one-way street coupled with the decline of the driveway took a bit of getting use to. (I wouldn't advise arriving at night the first time.) That won't stop us from returning - one of my favorite cabins so far and we've stayed at many! Also, the owner was very nice to work with and very quick to respond. Thank you!!!!

Great location - Lack of cleanliness & Bath Items

The cabin was very spacious and convenient to activities around town and restaurants. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes, etc. However, the supply of wash cloths per bathroom, per quest was not sufficient. We had 4 adults staying for 2 nights. The master bathroom only had 2 wash clothes and the guest bathroom only 1. There should have been 4 per bathroom. The owner closet was unlocked so we were able to find 1 wash cloth there. None of the towels, wash clothes or dish towels smelled fresh or clean. The guest bedroom closet was full of mice droppings. Dirty socks were found in the master bedroom. It didn't appear the upstairs had been swept or mopped. This was a bit unsettling.

Nice place for a small family

The rental was in a nice area. It was clean and spacious. Weather was not great when we first arrived and we spent a full night from 7pm-7am with no power. This is Mother Nature and no fault to the owner. The fire detector woke me up in a scare two nights in a row. The basement is a game room but was a bit flooded when we got there. Other than that, it’s a good place to stay.
