Amazing Property!!
This villa is truly a jewel. Plenty of space indoor and outdoors for 12 people (our party was only 9) on an incredible seafront setting with absolutely stunning views including a magnificent sunset. Access to the sea through a short walk on the rocks, which requires a little attention and water shoes, was a huge plus with amazing swimming in the beautiful lagoons around the cliffs. Our teenagers were soon doing acrobatics off the cliffs, which was a little nerve wracking at first but once used to it, was a great way for them to spend their energy.
The house is very well equipped with strong air conditioning in every room. The outside kitchen and bar complements the stylish indoor one and the 3 fridges, 2 dishwashers and an industrial ice maker made our stay very comfortable. If I were to nit pick, I would suggest that the owners install a gas BBQ grill, as the charcoal one is not very convenient for large groups. The “plancha” grill however picked up the slack there.
There are 3 bedrooms in the main house and another 3 in the “guest house” which for us was ideal as we separated our teenagers and it worked perfectly. Internet connection is OK, available pretty much everywhere but certainly not broadband, which I suspect is due to a satellite connection due to the location of the villa. Our Netflix worked well on the TV and the outside Sonos sound system was well appreciated.
The villa is a bit remote, which for us for 1 week was fine. Closest real shops for food are about a 20min drive. Also limited dining options within 10-15 mins, but we were very happy to stay in most nights and enjoy the incredible settings.
Checkin and checkout was very professional and thorough, handled by the agency. We arrived late at night and it was no issue, and Isabelle, the discrete yet very helpful caretaker who lives in a separate villa next to the main house, had taken the time to buy us some light dinner which was very appreciated.
Thank you to the owners, Isabelle and the agency for a truly memorable holiday and we are already planning our return!
