Welcome to Heaven Can Wait Lodge—an unrivaled, one-of-a-kind private retreat located 30 minutes from the charming town of Leavenworth and 35 minutes from Stevens Pass. Overlooking the Wenatchee River, this waterfront property spans 12 acres of pristine forests, fields, and Riverside beaches, creating an extraordinary setting for your getaway.
Please note there is no added cleaning fee, cleaning is inclusive in our nightly rate.

This spacious 4500 sf home is designed to comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests, making it perfect for families or a close-knit group of friends. Parking is a breeze with our ample 7-car parking.
With its well-equipped kitchen boasting three refrigerators, two dishwashers, and an expansive dining table, the Lodge is a culinary haven for creating memorable family meals.

Each season at the Lodge offers its own unique appeal. Do as much or as little as your heart desires. Relax in our soothing hot tub or cedar-lined sauna and fall asleep under a down comforter that promises a night of quiet solitude. For movie nights or game days, our media room features a 70-inch screen to elevate your viewing experience. During the colder snowy months December-March, The Lodge has two glass-fronted Lopi wood stoves for a cozy atmosphere while watching snow fall outside. Stay connected and entertained with high-speed WiFi, a pool table, and a foosball table.

In the summer, enjoy a heated swimming pool, tennis court with pickleball lines and basketball hoops, an outdoor chess set, and a children's sand play area. Ample lawn space for outdoor games and a private trail to the confluence of the Wenatchee and Chiwawa Rivers make for endless adventure and relaxation.

Load and start the dishwasher

Gather used towels

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

Please do not leave any dirty dishes in sinks, clean dishes on drying rack is ok, start a dishwasher with last dishes as leaving if needed.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Signed Rental Agreement and completed Guest Registry required to be returned to our office prior to receiving access information for the home.

No more than 12 people onsite at any time per County regulations. Includes overnight and any possible day guests. No events or groups over 12 people.

Guest is required to answer a series of questions confirming group size via inbox within 24 hours of booking being accepted.

Great place to have fun with friends

My friends and I loved our stay here! There were so many activities to do on the property. The only comment I would have is there is no AC, but they supplied lots of fans, we were by the water most of the time, and it cooled down at night so that wasn't a big deal for us.

AMAZING getaway!

We went out for a yearly weekend cabin getaway with a group of couples, this has been by far the best house we have stayed at and the best experience! Shannon was amazing to book with and very friendly, the home was beautiful and we utilized the hot tub and sauna to the full extent. We will book again and hopefully book to to experience the home over the summer! The views were immaculate as well.

Perfect kids escape

This is such a great spot for a family escape! Our kids had such a great time on the property between the pool, the river and the kids club that they never wanted to leave! The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is very well supplied. I highly recommend this place!

The Lodge was clean, spacious even for 15 guests, very well equipped kitchen- the 3 refrigerators came in handy, and set in a beautiful location on the river. We look forward to staying again and again.

Heaven Can Wait was absolutely perfect for our party of ten. The house and property are beautiful and have everything we needed. There was no need to leave during our three night stay because the property had something for everybody. Shannon responded immediately when we had questions and couldn’t be nicer. We will return!

Couples Retreat

We spent our annual couples retreat at this beautiful house. There were 8 couples. Plenty of room for all of us. This house has great space for all of us to relax and spend time together. The kitchen was wonderful! Everything we needed for a thanksgiving dinner for 16 people. Having 3 refrigerators was awesome! The bedrooms were very comfortable!

Birthday celebration

Perfect house for our family of 12. Ages 7 months to 60. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. Love the pool and hot tub. Kids loved the game room and kids room. If you are going anytime soon pack insect repellent. The mosquitoes were relentless. We tried to play basketball or take kids to sandbox area but mosquitoes were significant. They did spray around the house the day we arrived and that made it so we could use pool and hot tub. Owner was super communicative . House was everything as listed. Super clean too. Thanks so much for allowing us stay in your beautiful home!

Amazing property for our family vacation

This property is Heavenly! The Lodge itself is lovely. It is rustic in appearance, but has all the comfortable amenities. It offers plenty of rooms and bathrooms for a large group. The kitchen is fabulous and extremely well-equipped. The drawers are helpfully labeled. Instructions were provided for any of the less common features, such as the home's indoor/outdoor stereo system. Our group enjoyed the pool (a little chilly for the adults, but the kids didn't seem to mind)! All of us loved the hot tub. We enjoyed hanging out and eating meals on the deck. The surrounding property is so beautiful!. We observed a variety of wildlife during our stay! We saw deer each day out by the pond. The kids loved seeing the pollywogs in the pond! Amazingly, none of them ^accidentally" slipped into it! Haha We saw many kinds of birds, including a turkey! Little snakes & lizards, chipmunks, and some "evidence" of a bear!!! We all took walks along the river. This property feels like a very private retreat. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, and the weather during our stay was great. Last, but definitely not least, our Host Shannon was awesome. She quickly answered any of my questions from the time I first rented the property til up to and during our stay. My family would happily choose to stay here again! I highly recommend.

Heaven Can Wait Lodge is a beautiful space with more activities than can be done in a single stay - whether it's the aquatic pool, dry sauna & hot tub; or pickle ball, foosball & billiards. The entire house was clean & comfortable. Our group especially appreciated the three refrigerators and well-appointed kitchen. It was a wonderful location to celebrate a birthday with close friends.

This was our second year in a row staying at Heaven Can’t Wait with our extend family of ten. The return trip was as great at our first time there. The house is perfect with ample space for all of us and separate bedrooms for all four teenagers. The outdoor spaces are beautiful and the pool and hot tub provide entertainment all day long. House is fully stocked and the kitchen is enormous. Highly recommend!

We had a most wonderful family vacation in this fantastic house. It has everything anyone could possibly want in a getaway home. We were a family of 10, ages 18 to 87, celebrating 2 graduations, needing a place where everyone could have good time. All the rooms were well appointed, the kitchen was fantastic, and between rafting on the river, the pool and hot tub, and the game room, plus all the deck-sitting spaces for games or eating, this place had everything anyone could possibly want. We loved our time here in aptly named paradise.

Nice quiet retreat

This house is perfect. Away from neighbors every detail is perfectly thought out. It was the relaxing get away that my group of 12 adults needed. Every bed was comfortable, plenty of space to spread out, and lots of room around the kitchen table.
