Gîte in the heart of the Cotentin peninsula, between the D-Day landing beaches, Sainte Mère Église and Saint Vaast la Hougue.
We welcome you to the former village shop, which has been given a modern makeover while preserving its history, and is classified as a furnished tourist accommodation ***.
Come and discover this 103 m2 house all year round, with its private terrace, petanque area and private car park, set in a garden planted with trees.
On the ground floor, you'll find a comfortable living room with kitchen, sitting room with free WiFi and TV/radio with foreign channels, a 160cm master bedroom with private shower room and separate WC.
On the first floor, a dormitory bedroom with 4 single beds (90cm), a double bedroom (140cm) with its own dressing area, shower room and separate WC. Adjoining laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

In high season, June July August September, bookings are only made for a minimum of 7 nights or on request depending on calendar availability.

We will provide bed linen, towels, bath mats and table linen.
A hairdryer is available in each bathroom.



We accept one animal per rental, sociable, held by its owners and not destructive and in no case must remain alone in the house.
La Manche and the Cotentin are full of treasures to discover: museums, unspoilt coastlines, heritage and local produce where life is good. To discover or recharge your batteries

We had a great time with the family !

The house is very well equiped : excellent for families. Saint Marcouf is a small, quiet but charming village. Good starting point for exploring the region, including WW2 history.

Perfect place to stay

The house is excellent. It is equipped with everything and more. Very secure for children and spacious. The owners are very lovely and helpful. The location is great, a lot to do near by. The beaches are beautiful and not overfilled. 5 star allover.

It is a wonderful vacation home—large, modern, and lovingly furnished. We stayed there as a family of four and felt completely at home. There is a large garden and a terrace where you can enjoy breakfast or dinner whenever the sun is shining. It is absolutely quiet, yet very centrally located—you can get to the beach, the bakery, and the supermarket very quickly.Nadine and her husband are wonderful and loving hosts. Everything was lovingly prepared for our arrival and Nadine was always there for us if we had any questions.Highly recommended for a great stay in Normandy.

Beautifully renovated building with more conveniences than home. Located close to SaintMereEglise, Utah beach, Ravnoville and most locations in Normandy. Nadine and Alina were wonderful hosts and surpassed our every need. Very good vale for dollars/euro spent. Recommend highly and will stay here again!!

Absolutely Amazing!!

You would think with the language barriers it would be difficult. It was not Nadine and her husband are absolutely amazing people and we look forward to meeting them again. We loved the village and it's proximity to everything we wanted to see. She even arranged for a private tour of a museum for us. Very knowledgeable and the accomodations were more than we expected!!!

Excellent property

Nadine me us on arrival. She speaks only French, we speak only English. However, with the use of a translation app on her phone we managed. She provided a thorough explanation of the features of the property. The property was spotlessly clean with a really well equipped kitchen. There is a beautifully landscaped garden and it is fully secure, important as we had two small children with us. There are many WW2 historical sites within easy reach, also true of beaches. Definitely recommend the property

A Real Gem

A real gem of a property along with the hosts Nadine and Alian. The house is well equipped, modern, warm and has everything you need. The location is superb to visit all the WW2 beaches and memorials along with both small and larger towns and villages. Nadine was always on hand if you needed anything, friendly and welcoming. If you had forgot to pick up the wonderful french bread then a mobile baker drops by with tasty treats as you are in rural France. The view of the sea, trees and green land is so relaxing. A wonderful time had by all and we will return. Thankyou Nadine.

Sehr herzlicher Empfang durch die Eigentümer des sehr sauberen und sehr gepflegten Hauses, welches auch wirklich so aussieht, wie es in der Insertion präsentiert wurde. Die äusserst Umfangreiche Ausstattung ist kaum zu überbieten und der Garten ist grosszügig und wunderschön. Sehr schöner Urlaub

Den Urlaub in St. Marcouf de Isle konnten wir in der Unterkunft sehr genießen. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich, hat eine tolle Einweisung am Anreisetag in das Objekt gegeben. Sie war ständig verfügbar wenn es Rückfragen gegeben hat. Das Objekt war sehr sauber, ein wunderbar gepflegtes Haus mit herrlichem Garten. Vor Ort ist alles da, was man sich für einen tollen und entspannten Urlaub Urlaub wünscht.

Heerlijk verblijf

Het is een heerlijk ruim huis met fijne tuin. Alles is aanwezig. Grote goed uitgeruste keuken. Zeer gastvrije eigenaar. Prima ligging voor strand en D-day monumenten. Een aanrader.

Le séjour a été très agréable, la location était propre, bien équipé et bien situé pour la découverte de la région et des plages notamment. La gérante était très aimable, a répondu à toutes nos questions et était très disponible.

Ein fantastisches Haus!

Ein ganz tolles Haus, das wir nur weiterempfehlen können. Hier stimmt alles, das Haus ist super ausgestattet, total gemütlich und vor allem ausgesprochen sauber. Die Betten sind die bequemsten, in denen wir je in einem Ferienhaus geschlafen haben. Der Garten ist groß und astrein gepflegt, sogar zwei Hühner sind dabei. :) Wir fühlten uns sofort angekommen und wohl.

Gîte très agréable et fonctionnel

Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine pendant les fêtes dans ce gîte où rien ne manque. Il est très bien équipé ( surtout la cuisine), décoré avec goût. Bien isolé du froid et du bruit. Bonne literie et linge de maison de qualité. Nadine nous a très bien accueillis et conseillés. Pour finir, idéalement placé pour visiter les sites du débarquement. Je vous le recommande !

Einfach nur super !!!

Wir hatten mit 2 Personen und einem Weimeraner dieses wundervoll restaurierte Haus mit großem Garten gemietet. Die Bilder im Netz spiegeln das Haus genau so wieder wie es ist. Der Garten vortrefflich mit schönen Gartenmöbeln. Nadine die Vermieterin, ist eine freundliche und tolle Gastgeberin. Da unser Jagdhund die beiden Hühner sofort als Objekt der Begierde entdeckt hat, mussten wir den 1. Tag aufpassen, da er immer vorstellig wurde. :-) Nach dem 1 Tag hatten sich Hund und Huhn aber gern. Leider mussten wir das Haus bereits nach 2 Tagen wegen Krankheit verlassen. Ich hoffe das wir nochmals wiederkommen und vergebe somit 5 Sterne. Ein Yakuzzi soll bis 15 Okt.2023 fertig gestellt sein und wird sicherlich manchen Gast erfreuen. Ein Pool wäre auch nicht schlecht :-) Viele Grüße an Nadine von Bernd und Barbara
