If these words appeal to you, then it could be that you will feel comfortable in our apartment. It is located above the village of Wald in the Zurich Oberland in a quiet and most beautiful view: a new 2-room garden apartment in our somewhat older house, which we have breathed fresh colors and vitality into. The "pilgrim apartment" with its own entrance is located in the lower part of the house and - like the whole house - faces south.

It includes the living room with kitchen corner, the bathroom and a bedroom with a French bed. The sofa in the living room can be converted into another bed. The apartment is suitable for 2 people or parents with 1 child. Kitchen living with ceramic hob. No TV, but WiFi connection (wireless). Parking 15m from the house. You have a clear view of the mountains from the windows, and the apartment door leads directly into the garden, which is open for free use. A natural stone staircase leads to a fireplace in the upper part of the garden with a magnificent panoramic view of the village and the Alps. A wonderful place that we are always drawn to!

* Forest is a beautiful and large village on the edge of the Prealps. It is not always, but very often above the fog, nestled in the hills and forest, and even has its own alp - Alp Scheidegg. Our house is located on the hiking route to the Bachtel and in close proximity to the Jakobweg, which is used by many pilgrims. In summer, the area is ideal for hiking, in winter you can reach the Oberholz and Atzmännig ski areas in less than a quarter of an hour.

Forest has a great industrial past. It was considered a center of the textile industry and was called "Manchester of Switzerland". Homeland-protected factory buildings and manufacturer's villas testify to that time, so that nature and culture combine in a harmonious way in our village,

* Lake Zurich can be reached by car in 20 minutes. There is Rapperswil with the lake promenade, castle, old town and numerous shops. Zurich is also within easy reach. The journey to the largest Swiss city takes 35 minutes, 40 minutes by public transport. That is what makes this village so appealing: that both are within reach - the mountains as well as the city.
