Great stay for the family

Our vacation was great with our stay here. Very comfortable home with everything we needed with 2 little boys. It has a third bedroom with bunk beds not pictured. We felt safe and great location to everything we needed. Husband wants to book again when we go back.

Overall a good place to stay.

The property and location was nice and comfortable. The only issue I encounter was with the appliances on the location. I will recomend the host to brtter upkeep and maintain the appliances on this property. Water heater broke the first week and was a couple day to fix. The washer and dryer needs to be maintained as the ruind alot of my clothes. Aside from that host was gracious and easily to get a hold of in all problems and questions.

We enjoyed hosting Leidy. It is true the water heating unit broke down and took us 2 days to remediate. The good thing is that we installed a new and larger unit that works awesome! Regarding the appliances we have new Samsung washer and dryer that is up to par with any appliance worldwide. I could think that Leidy may have forgotten to remove and clean the lint collector which is standard with any dryer appliance. The appliances are fairly new and in good working condition, so the claim about updating appliances is odd. Other than that we appreciate yoir business and thank you for your review.

4 stars only because of deposit

The property was nice and exactly what I expected. The guys downstairs in security did their job well and easy to deal with. My only complaint is the apartment cost me one hundred and thirty dollars a night, a very good price for what was given back in return. However, I had to put a $3000.00 refundable damage deposit on top of my above apartment fees. As I type this review eleven days after my checkout I have yet to receive my deposit back. I have spoken to v r b o and they assure me that my deposit will be returned (in full) on april sixteenth. It is great that the property owner did a honest review of the condition in which we left the apartment. However, if I was a person that needed all or a portion of that $3000 while on vacation 15 days to return my money is excessive. If it was not for the deposit I will say again that I would given this host five stars. Because the location, the apartment, the communication, and ease of access of the property is worth five stars

Well, what can I say. The apartment was in a very nice location. The stores around the corner and mall a few blocks away were convenient. The apartment itself. It needs updating. First in VRBO the apartment is listed with a 3pm check in. Only to arrive at the apartment at 3:52pm and have security say we needed to wait 10 minutes. Apparently, the needed to call the owner of the apartment to come unlock it or give us the door scan tag. Upon her arrival at 4:16pm, she was not very welcoming. And honestly seemed put out to even have to come to let us in. Entering the apartment you can see that the cleaning fee that you are charged upon your stay is not being taken advantage of for the amount of dust that was on the lights and sofas. I have stayed at many different hotels and rental apartments. What I can recommend to this owner is maybe have some bathroom soap. And an additional garbage bag or 2 for your guests. The balcony lock didn't lock was broken. A lamp in the master bedroom was malfunctioning as well. The apartment was advertised with hot water. Which in Bogota this is very important because it is always cold there. The master bedroom shower did not produce any hot water. So, it was the secondary bathroom that is what we all were forced to use. With the bathroom the hot water would run for roughly 90 seconds. After the 90 seconds the water would run ice cold. So, you would have to turn the water off. Then turn it right back on to get the hot water to return. But, waiting for it to reheat while ice cold water is flowing from the hot water side. You standing there freezing waiting and praying for the hot water. Hope you take very short showers. All communications about this apartment is with a representative named Gio. For the most part, nice guy. Mostly informative. Answered the majority of the questions asked of him. But he lost all credit with me when I messaged him the first morning of arrival about the hot water. And I did not ever receive a reply back. It took me to send an additional message thanking him for his non-reply and help with the ice cold shower for him to finally respond the day before we were to check out of the apartment. So, that's 4 days with 1 semi-working shower. Normally, someone would have been sent out to take a quick look at the issue. But his response was for me to play with the dials on the heater. No thanks, not going to be responsible for the heater if it were to magically break if I touched it.

Daniel. What you are saying is not true. We have hot water and the apartment is in excellent condition. We have hundreds of great reviews about our place. We are super meticulous about how clean we keep our apartment, you were just having a a bad day, so please don't blame it on us. You were also informed ahead of time once your booking came in that the check in time was 4 p.m. and not 3: 00 p.m., but yet you insisted in checking in early regardless right? About the water being cold, It is very likely that you or your wife when doing laundry moved the knobs that control the water heater. We have a note there that says PLEASE DON'T TOUCH the knobs yet one of you did The water heater is new and it is in great condition. Our apartment is beautiful and ee keep it in great condition. Next time go to a hotel chain and pay $400 USD dollars a night and complai. when you only paid per night $65 USD. This type of reviews make you look like the typical guest that no one wants to host in any country. Better luck next time because you are not welcome at our place. Next time you travel go ahead and pay the $400 USD a night that you deserve.

Everything was perfect the location, close to the airport and nice apartment.

Only change I would suggest since we were visitors in Bogota was being pick up in a car or family to visit was a hassle. The security would call the owner not us!
