Stylish Main St Loft A2 Above Bakery + Restaurant - Sleeps 6

Stay at Wonder, a beautifully restored historic brick building on Main Street in downtown Honesdale. Located above Native Restaurant and Be Kind Bake Shop, Loft A2 sleeps up to 6 and features 2 full baths with spa-style multi-jet showers, a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances, 1 queen bed, 2 queen sleeper sofas, dining area, Smart TV, WiFi, and luxury linens.

Loft A2 comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests and features a modern, open-concept design with 10-foot ceilings and stylish finishes throughout.

The space includes:

-1 Queen bed
-2 Queen sleeper sofas
-2 full bathrooms with walk-in multi-jet spa showers
-Fully equipped kitchen with concrete countertops and new appliances
-Dining table and seating
-Smart TV and high-speed WiFi
-Luxury linens, towels, and fully stocked kitchen essentials

Please note this is an open-plan loft. Sleeping areas are separated by curtains, and there are no enclosed bedrooms. The bathrooms are fully private.

Access & Parking

The loft is located on the 2nd floor (approximately 20 steps). Please note there is no elevator in the building.

Free parking is available in a nearby lot just a short walk away.

Things to Know

Quiet hours are from 11 PM – 7 AM. The lofts share adjoining walls, so we kindly ask guests to be respectful of neighbors.

As the building is located above a restaurant, you may occasionally hear some light noise, depending on the evening.

No parties, no pets, guests must be over 25.

This studio was exactly what we needed to make our trip enjoyable. We have a small, family-built cabin in a nearby town, which does not offer ideal conditions for sleeping, electric, etc. We like to have a convenient and cozy place to stay at night and this studio was perfect. It is so spacious, very clean, and the two bathrooms were such a plus. The bed was luxurious and so comfortable! The location in town was perfect and what we needed—walkable access to shops and restaurants. Would love to stay again!

Had such a great weekend here, it was close to my venue (which came in handy because I forgot my wedding shoes) . Very clean and spacious and it was close to all the restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Great accommodation for 4 of us. Having the two baths was great and the fact that Gravity Ice Cream is directly across the street was an added value ! Loft was roomy, clean, clean, clean and comfotable.

Easy and comfortable stay in downtown Honesdale

We were in town to visit family, and the WonderLoft was well-suited for our visit. It's great to be near shops and food options downtown, and the space is clean and comfortable. Good communication with the host.

Great get away loved the town

Took some time to gather my thoughts and work on my business, the town of Honesdale exceeded my expectations, the loft was more than what was pictured, my colleague and I enjoyed everything the scenery, food and people we will be back with our families. Thanks Wonder

Great place for a family!

We've stayed at these lofts twice and had excellent experiences both times. The properties are very spacious, well equipped, and clean. We had one issue with check-in, and the host was very quick to correct it. Anytime I have a question, the host replies immediately. It's also a great location with lots of amenities nearby.

Honesdale’s Finest

Very nice, spacious, clean, and comfortably quiet. The kitchenette was big but we didn’t use it. On our next visit, I’d love to see a curtain in the back bedroom, and more hangars and places to hang things. Otherwise it was a superb stay. We made a dinner reservation for Native which is directly below Wonder.

Cool and cozy

My family and I stayed for a week in unit A2. Checkin and checkout were very easy. Unit had almost everything we needed. We bought a curtain for the back bedroom because it’s super bright in the morning on that side and there is no covering. Got a simple spring rod to hold it. We also bought another spring rod to hang clothes in a doorway on because the tall armoire did not have one. Also bought a wire holder for neck of shower faucet because there was nowhere to put shower toiletries. Kitchen chair legs need to be tightened because they’re very loose..but otherwise, the space was cute and decorated in a cool retro fashion. AC and WiFi worked very well. Will stay again. Thanks!

This property was right in the middle of everything. it was clean and bright with very modern decor. The floors could have been sanded more, with some rough spots. The stairs, as mentioned in the listing, made it a little awkward to bring in our luggage. The kitchen was well stocked. The bathrooms were clean, but lighting by the mirror over the sink would have been appreciated. It would have been crowded with 6, but very spacious for 2 people. The host's directions were useful and timely. The noise level was good, except for motorcycles going down the street on Saturday night. The view from Irving's cliff was amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed dinner at Native, right next door.

What a great use of space! It is very well equipped and clean. It is a roomy and spacious. We had 5 adults and did not feel like we were on top of each other at all. There is a very smart layout. We were in town for a wedding and it is a perfect location for the venue at 6th and River (easy walk across the street). And I loved the seating area at the entrance. Thanks for having us!

Lovely Place

I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because there was no curtain over the back window and it let in all the morning sun and it was on a very busy (noisy) street. It was clean, as described, and convenient.

Great stay

We enjoyed our time in Honesdale. We were in the area to ski, but were really pleased both with the town and the loft in it. Really couldn't have been more comfortable.

Hello and welcome to Wonder! I was born and raised in Honesdale, where my family’s roots go back to the mid-1800s. After graduating from Honesdale High School, I earned my degree from Penn State University and spent a semester studying in Sevilla, Spain. My career then took me to Toronto, Southern California, and Northern Mexico, where I worked in marketing and business development.

In 2005, I returned home to join my father at RE/MAX Wayne, the family business my parents founded in 1993. Today, alongside my father and my wife, Heather, we proudly lead three offices serving our region. Over the years, our family has been deeply involved in revitalizing Main Street and supporting the Honesdale community.

I’m passionate about this town and love sharing it with our guests. When I’m not working, I’m enjoying time with Heather and our three children, Sadie, Zachary, and Jesse.

We’re so glad you’re here and hope you love Honesdale as much as we do.

This historic building sat vacant for many years, and after driving past it daily and watching it slowly deteriorate, I decided to take a leap of faith and restore it. With the help of Samuelle Green, a high school friend, neighbor to Wonder, and incredibly talented artist and designer we transformed the space into something special for Main Street Honesdale.

Today, the building is home to Native Honesdale restaurant, Be Kind Bake House, and six beautifully designed Wonder Lofts. It was a long journey, but seeing this corner of downtown brought back to life and contributing to the revitalization of our community has made it all worthwhile.
