About this property

Sunburst Cottage Beachside

Come and enjoy our beautiful beach side vacation rental. Built in 1955 this Old Florida style home beautifully appointed and newly remodeled is fully furnished. The house is East of A1A Beach Blvd so there are no roads to cross. ( not Oceanfront but less than 50 yards form the beach.)

The many features include brand new appliances in the full kitchen, washer dryer, two large bedrooms, fireplace,central air and heat, a living room with two comfortable couches as well as a front porch which has a day bed and converts to two twin beds.

There are 1 1/2 baths as well as an outside hot and cold shower. The outdoor deck has a built in Hot Tub. It is on a section of Saint Augustine Beach that does not allow driving on the Beach so it is less crowded and more private. We do allow dogs and St Augustine Beach Beach is very dog friendly.

It is a short walk to the fishing pier and 14 cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. Downtown Saint Augustine is a short ten minute drive.

Everyone loves our house. It is close to the Beach and everything Saint Augustine has to offer.

Spring getaway!

We were happy to spend time at the beach and it was the perfect location, close to several bars, restaurants and beach. My only suggestion would be to purchase beach towels, there were none. If people were flying in they would be hard pressed. And I would upgrade some of the kitchen utensils otherwise we had a great time!

This is our 4th time staying at Sunburst Cottage. It’s quiet and comfortable. Home has everything you need and then some. Very short walk to the beach and places to eat. Michael is great to communicate with and so nice. I definitely recommend staying at Sunburst Cottage.

Wonderful beach house

A genuine home away from home

We've stayed here twice now and its a wonderful home. Just a few houses away from the beach and abouy 10min drive from downtown st augustine. This house gives you a glimpse into what it would be like to live at the beach. 10/10 recommended

This was originally our family home. When we moved to a larger home we kept it as a rental since it is so close to the beach. Twelve years ago we converted it to a short term vacation rental. We own two gift shops in downtown Saint Augustine so having a Vacation rental is a good fit for us since we are have been in the Tourism business for 40 years. We enjoy sharing our knowledge and experience of the area with our guests.

Our house has been in our family for many years. We take pride in our ownership. It is well maintained and everything works. I have stayed in many vacation rentals around the country for many years. I have been disappointed more often than not. I have tried to use my experience to make your stay more enjoyable. I keep the hot tub hot and the grill always has gas. If there are problems we get on top of it.
