Family Beach Trip

Great location easy and close to the beach which was helpful with a toddler. Room was nice and updated with all amenities we needed. View was great.

You can't beat this location for watching the sunrise - from your balcony! The property has been beautifully renovated and has a great layout and use of space. We would be happy to stay here again!

Wonderful little haven

We had such a wonderful time staying at ocean overlook. The host was attentive and helpful and everything was picture perfect. The interior is updated and the bed was so comfortable! We were so happy that there were so many things to do in close proximity to the resort and we really enjoyed the atmosphere at the beach. Very family friendly and well maintained. We would definitely stay again!

The prefect get away

We had a great time, and the condo was so cute and perfect for our stay. It’s right on the beach with a fantastic view. The property owners were very responsive and thorough throughout the whole process. Highly recommend !

Excellent place

We loved our stay so much. It was very clean and all directions were very detailed. The view was absolutely amazing! Also loved the sand dollar wall, great idea. Chad always answered any questions we had quickly. We will return. Highly recommend this place.

Everything was just as the pictures portray. I have been coming to Hilton Head for years, and this unit is the cleanest I have ever stayed in. The owner really cares about his unit and it shows. I will stay here when I come back!!!

JUST WONDERFUL!

We recently stayed at the Ocean Overlook and absolutely loved it! Perfect location, super clean and beautifully decorated. Great beach access with the best views from the balcony. The property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Hats off to our host who gave us the most detailed information to insure all/any questions were answered. Will definitely return and would definitely recommend!

Best oceanfront villa ever!!!

The ocean front view is amazing!! You don’t have to ever leave the condo, you can watch the ocean from the couch. Very clean and well appointed. The bed was amazing and I am very picky about beds. Centrally located. Everything you need is close by. We will be back!!

Beach Getaway

Great Beach Rental. You can’t get much closer to the beach, just steps away. The views from the balcony are Great. The unit is well done with nice finishes. The owners are great and easy to communicate with even checking in to make sure everything was to our liking. The resort it’s located in is nice with multiple pickle ball and tennis courts which we enjoyed. Great place will try to return in the future!

Exceptional - Better than the pictures!

Ocean Overlook is an exceptional, pristine condo - DIRECT ocean view, PRIVATE internet, HUGE TVs with multiple sports-viewing options, comfortable bed, well-stocked kitchen, truly better than the pictures. Chad is great with communicating and wholeheartedly wants his guests to have an ultimate getaway experience…which we did. We are thankful for owners who offer their homes to us. It’s obvious Ocean Overlook is loved and cared for, and we will definitely consider staying here again.

Our second Beach Trip Here

This is the second time we stayed here. We love the corner unit and sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean. We can walk right to the beach it’s so close. The unit is immaculately cleaned and our host was readily available if we had any questions. He is so thorough we had no questions. The weather was not always cooperative but we had plenty to do in town on non beach days. We toured the ruins of a plantation home and a small community built for freed slaves surrounded by beautiful walking trails. We also spent a day in beautiful Harbor Town.

What an amazing place to discover the beauties of HHI from! The condo is in very close proximity to the ocean and we enjoyed sunrises and evening dinner on the balcony. The sound of the waves coming was beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed the location and ability to rent bikes and ride along the beach. The condo itself was extremely clean and well equipped. Chad went above and beyond to ensure that everything was in place for a wonderful holiday. We are already planning for our return next year.

Beautiful Views, Interesting Correspondence

You cannot beat the view at this property. However, the hosts were quick to respond, but their methods of communication around issues (e.g., very long messages stating how mentally distressed they were that we weren't having the "best vacation experience we have ever had," was off-putting, or suggesting their parents pop over to look at cleaning issues, etc. (which we very much did not want) made our experience somewhat stressful at times. Overall we enjoyed our trip and this space is suitable for no more than two guests, otherwise you'd be quite cramped.

Wow. Your review is manipulative and full of half truths. Upon checkin you confirmed that everything was "clean, beautiful, and to your liking." Within an hour, you claimed that you could not locate a single, specific amenity and for your inconvenience we sent you an agreed to payment to your requested account. The very next morning, you requested that a few spaces be spot cleaned, so we scheduled our professional cleaners at your requested time to come and service the concerned areas. A few hours later, we followed up with you to confirm that everything was to your liking and you never responded. 5 days later, at checkout, you blindsided us with a refund request because: you claimed that our cleaners did not meet your expectations (yet you never communicated to us that you were still unhappy), “a couple of nail holes on a finishing piece of trim near one corner appeared to be unprofessionally finished because they were a little larger than the others," "fans were falling off the ceiling," and "our home was a construction zone." To confirm, none of these things are true: our home is not a construction zone, our fans were professionally installed by hired professional contractors with proper permits who also completed our entire renovation in March of 2021. Yes, I did say after reading your novel of a refund request that, "I felt mentally paralyzed." I was so shocked by your request and for the list of reasons why. It is also true that my response was long because I had to respond to every comment you brought to our attention with detail; one of those details stated that my parents would be stopping by after your checkout to ensure our home is 5-star ready for the next guest...which is was/is; the two guests since your stay (on AirBnB) have already left a 5-star reviews. But in short, speaking specifically to your stay and addressing your review, we answered every call you made and resolved every concern you brought to your attention & did so within minutes throughout your stay. So as a host that is dedicated to providing 5-star services and experiences for all of our guests, having hosted hundreds of families, I am disappointed and blindsided that you with held information from us, did not communicate your needs, insulted our home through lies, did not follow our home rules, and then tried to use that to manipulate these situations as ransom for a refund. As you commented to us privately, you have enjoyed staying at other homes more; therefore, we encourage you to book those home(s) in advance as our home is not available to any future reservation requests from you.

Truly one of the best oceanfront views on the island!

I cannot begin to say how pleased I am to have stayed at Ocean Overlook! We have stayed at the same resort, but in a different villa! We decided this year we wanted something oceanfront(something we haven’t had previously). We have always stayed in a villa that was lagoon front, and I felt cheated to be at the beach and not be able to see it. When we first arrived at ocean overlook we were absolutely amazed at the fact that the view was truly as it was shown! Not only was the view spectacular, but everything was clean and just as shown! The owner was very diligent making sure that every was to our liking! And willing to make our stay as enjoyable as possible! We cannot say enough how happy we our to have chosen this beautiful place! And we cannot wait to stay here in the future! After all Hilton Head Island is the most beautiful and relaxing place to vacation in my opinion!
