This property is clean, well-stocked/maintained, and a convenient location for exploring the area. As noted in the description, it is located alongside Hwy41, a very busy road during the day and early evening. The road noise drops considerably during nighttime. People sleeping in the front bedroom would likely appreciate earplugs. Check-in and out was easy.
This was a really nice place to stay while snowmobiling in the UP. Parking is tight but there was just enough took for a truck and 14’ enclosed trailer. Will stay here again
Our stay was great. The location is perfect if guests are exploring the Keweenaw Peninsula. The property is spacious and extremely clean. The hosts are quick to respond to any inquiries. I highly recommend staying at this property.
We had the best time at this property, and we will stay there again if given an opportunity! The property was adorable and convenient…lots of amenities in the house. It was perfect for our family dogs. The hosts were super responsive and very helpful!
Very nice place clean and perfect for snowmobile trip with 3 guys. The trail is right across the street. Gas station and bar restaurant right next to to house. Parking is alittle tight I had a 14’ trailer and crew cab truck and that fit perfect any longer might be a little difficult getting in.
It's your home away from home every thing you need they have for you. i will definitely be coming back and definitely recommend it had an excellent time
We appreciated this little home in a convenient location to visit with family and friends nearby. It was extremely clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and homey. We hiked the Keweenaw, discovered new places, and revisited old favorites. Loved the copper vibe. Fred is an excellent host, friendly and readily available. Looking forward to our next stay!
We enjoyed our stay 10!!! If you’re visiting and don’t have a car the location is perfect, everything is walking distance and the places that aren’t deliver.
Great little place to stay that comes with everything you could imagine. The accommodation was super clean and cozy. Superb location in Hancock and not too far from MTU. Theres a great restaurant across the street and you get a great view of the snowmobile trails!
Stayed here for our recent MTU visit. Super clean and warm for our January trip. Onsite parking is easy. Great location, nice restaurant across the street and close to downtown Hancock. The Miner’s decor was super cool with the local copper mining history. Will stay again.
