Beautiful Lakefront Cottage!

Hancock, MI

It's a cozy, two-bedroom lakefront home with a wide front porch. Enjoy swimming in the refreshing lake, or simply sit on the front porch with a cup of coffee and watch the sunset!

The home is completely furnished, linens and kitchen utensils provided. There is great WiFi however the cellular service is spotty. There is a landline phone available for use.

It is located five miles from town, where there are numerous restaurants, shops, a ski hill, snowmobile and ATV rentals, and much more!

Within a mile of the home, there are beautiful cross-country, biking and hiking trails. Get away from your everday life and enjoy the peace and quiet of this area.

Seaman Mineral Museum and Calumet Theatre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Husky Chair Lift and Mont Ripley Ski Area. Mine Shaft and Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts are also worth visiting. Take in the nearby slopes with cross-country skiing and snowboarding, or try out other outdoor activities such as sledging and ice skating.

Wonderful place to relax with a great view. The bed was very comfortable. My favorite spot was sitting on that porch and relaxing. Very convenient to many activities. I would definitely stay here again

This is one of the most outstanding properties in the Copper Country. My wife and I are third generation Hancock natives and had our own cottage next store ( in the family for 85 years). We are also both MTU graduates. This cottage is a gem.

The water view for the week was so beautiful the entire time we were there. The place is small but cozy. This cottage was clean, quiet and a perfect distance from the park our family was staying at. We had a great time Yooper rock hunting and blueberry picking. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway go to the Nordic Spa at Mt. Bohemia it’s worth your time and money. We will definitely rent this place again!

This is a beautiful spot from which to enjoy the Portage Lake which included the fourth of July fireworks display from the little village of Oscar across the water. It was astounding, beautiful! and quiet!
