Absolutely loved our stay at Lupine Sea Ranch! Beautiful, peaceful property with thoughtful amenities throughout. We saw deer, quail, a blue jay, whales in the ocean, and even captured some beautiful shots of the Milky Way. A truly special getaway. We’d love to come back!

Real people there to help

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve been going to Sea Ranch for over 40 years and always rent through Beach Rentals because they are friendly, knowledgable and there when you need them. When we had trouble with the TV they sent someone over right away. We love Lupine house because it’s small but comfortable, efficient, full of light, close to our favorite beaches and walks.

Beautiful Older Sea Ranch Home

We had a great time at the Lupine house! With a two minute walk down to the beach or to the playground or to see the seals- this house is ideal! :)

Interiors are pretty dated and it wasn't spotless, but it's perfect if you're on a budget and plan to spend most of your time outside anyway.

Original Sea Ranch Vibe

The house is clean, convenient, and comfortable. It will not suit those with ostentatious tastes. It is a well-maintained example of the original Sea Ranch philosophy; thoughtfully designed, a little spartan, inexpensive materials used in a innovative way. It still feels truly mid-century modern.

A Peaceful Retreat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I really don't like reviewing our stays at Sea Ranch because I wish no one else ever went there! We want it all to ourselves. Actually, it always feels like we have it to ourselves and it's so beautiful and peaceful. The Lupine house is very comfortable and well appointed. We stay there once a year - this year was our 5th time staying at Lupine. Sea Ranch is totally magical and Beach Rentals is a lovely company with friendly and helpful staff!

NOW AT HOME

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hi--- We enjoyed our stay very much although we were very disappointed that again we were not able to access the deck because of a faulty lock set on the access door. If this is not remedied we would reconsider our choosing to stay in this house again. Other than for this issue we were generally happy about our experience.Last year ,I remember, there was a compensation for the loss of use of the deck area. Perhaps this could be considered also for this year.Best,Ron Heglin

Thank you for letting us know about the problems you had with the lock to the door to the deck. We are sorry that you had the same problem this year with the same lock. It was repaired last year and yes, we are repairing it now with a new lock. Compensation has been given again. Hope you visit with us next year with a new lock installed. Best Regards, Beach Rentals and Homeowner

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay was generally good. The one thing we were frustrated with was the Wi-fi. My partner is an IT professional and his assessment was that the wifi router really needs to be replaced as it was generations older than modern options.

Relaxing at Sea Ranch

This property is more of a budget option for the area, but a good one. The bones are wonderful, the decor/ furniture does not entirely match the era of the development of the sea ranch which is a disappointment, but it is cozy and will provide all that one might need. The space was clean and overall a great place for a family vacation.
