Amazing for Christmas family reunion!Loved our stay at Aspen Ray Lodge and would definitely go again! We were there for a family reunion at Christmas. Such an outstanding scenic secluded location. The large dining and gathering areas had enough space for us to all sit for eating at the same time and also meet together in a cozy setting. Great to have ping pong, pool, and foosball in the same area - fun for tournaments. Merilee had decorated for Christmas, was kind, organized and replied immediately to any questions. Thanks so much!

Family Reunion Dream!

We are so happy with our stay in this beautiful home. The outside amenities and large kitchen were just what our very large and active family needed. We loved the large gathering areas in the house and appreciated so much table seating. The managers were extremely prompt and clear with all communication which was also wonderful- THANK YOU The proximity with town was also just right. We intend to book this property again in the future.

Family weekend

The Lodge is a great property, the views are stunning, especially the night sky. We had 7 families and had plenty of room. There were many amenities, we enjoyed the wood fire pit, the large wrap around deck, the basketball court, horseshoes and other outside games. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Large kitchen and Fridge made food prep easy. We had a great time.

Fabulous place to stay

Our family loved staying here. Great lodge with lots of room for everyone and a great kitchen. We enjoyed beach volleyball, horse shoes, soccer and star gazing. It was such a fun weekend!

Perfect family gathering place.

Wonderful large kitchen. Open areas to enjoy being together. Plenty of indoor and outdoor activities for all ages. We had a wonderful time! The entire home is well appointed for a large group. Beautiful views.

Awesome Space

We stayed at this property during a high school Mountain Bike race. It was perfect for our needs, large kitchen, spacious property for the kids to run around outside and the inside had plenty of beds and bathrooms. It fit our needs perfectly.

A hidden gem!

The lodge had so much space and so much to do ā€” our little ones were completely entertained for four days. We even decided against some of our planned excursions in favor of just staying at the lodge. And the owners were fabulous. Highly recommended for those looking for a private place to relax!

Fantastic Stay!

We had an age range from 5-80, and everyone found things to entertain them at this lodge, both indoor and outdoor. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful hideaway

This log cabin in the secluded mountains was beautiful. The interior was rustic but up to date. The outside was quiet and the landscaping was serene. The bedroom layout is not the same as what is listed. Check with owners before reserving.

Mount Olympus Presbyterian Church Men

We had an amazing time at Aspen Ray Lodge! The landscape is breathtaking, as well as the serenity of the area. The lodge functioned very well for our retreat. The kitchen served our group of 32 very well. The basement was used for our gatherings as a group. We had great adventures in the area. Marty and Marilee were responsive, accomodating and helpful. They allowed us to park a couple trailers (self-contained) in the driveway, and they provided everything we needed. The only downside was the tub was low of water and wouldn't heat above 95 degrees. We could have solved the problem or contacted Marty and surely he would have been there to fix it right away, but we chose not to. We had such a great time and hope to come here again! A very special place.

It was a great prooerty something for everyone to do. Loved seeing deer in the evenings something for all to do. They responded to our needs immediately. When we seen them they were friendly. Plenty of room. The hot tub was a hit. Very well stocked for large groups. The family had a great family retreat. Dudnt want it to end.

Golf tril

We loved every minute in our home away from home. The owner was super friendly and available whenever we reached out with questions. The place looks brand new. Everything is super clean and updated. The teens had fun on the fuse ball table and board games and We loved the washer/dryer, pool and spa amenities. There were TVā€™s in every room and several extra roll always if needed. Thank for providing extra pillows and blankets as well! We will be back next time in San Antonio!

Awesome Christmastime!

We loved our time at the Aspen Ray Lodge! We had extended family stay for 5 nights over Christmas and had a wonderful time. Plenty of room to gather, play and sleep with a large kitchen and Christmas decorations! Marty and Merilee were wonderful and attentive. Couldn't ask for more. Highly recommend.

Secluded property with many ammenities

The property is located in a small, secluded canyon. The cabin was larger than it looked in the photos. Our youth group of ~30 fit very comfortably. Outdoor amenities are nearly endless--basketball court, sand volleyball court, 2 horseshoe pits, campfire ring, corn hole, frisbee, hot tub, etc. We had a wonderful time.

Stunning setting, w amazing yard!

We absolutely loved our time here. It was very relaxing and had all the amenities for a wonderful stay! We enjoyed roasting hotdogs over the fire and yard games and hot tub under the stars!! Beautiful and spacious! The kitchen setup was amazing! Weā€™d love to come back again!

We thoroughly enjoyed using this home for our work retreat. This property and space worked perfectly for both our team and clients. This is an excellent space for large groups and we appreciate all the extra work that went into prepping the home for our stay.

Even better than we expected!

Ours was a 4 generation family group of 49 people age 1 to 91. There were fun indoor and outdoor activities available on the property, which is remote enough that our large group wouldn't disturb others but close enough to stores, parks etc. We prepared all of our meals in the kitchen which had the space for all our supplies. There is ample seating to eat both indoors and out on the large covered deck. We also loved the outdoor 'amphitheater' for our large to all gather for devotional or activities. Thanks

Gorgeous location; had everything we needed!

We had our family reunion here and it was fantastic! The location is so gorgeous! It was quiet and out of the way, but really close to town. The host was gracious and really pleasant to work with. It had everything we needed and more. Highly recommended!

Better then images!

Great time and great stay. Cabin was BETTER then images shown. There was more amenities than was shown on the images. Basketball hoops, horseshoes, sand volleyball, and fire pit. Great surprise. The cabin itself was nicer and more upgraded then images shown. Happy constructive suggestion improve images and provide a layout map of the bedrooms for planning purposes. Only negative was the later than desired check in. 4 pm is pretty late for a check-in. Almost seems like the first day is a bit of a waste. All in all 5 star positive experience.

Girls Camp Success

We were very happy with the experience & the cabin was even better in person than in the pictures. The girls had a great time playing games & there was a place for everyone! We loved it!
