Quiet dog friendly home overlooking nature preserve, 1 block from private beach.

We have refreshed the whole house for our guests. We hope you enjoy the changes such as a fully fenced yard for the pups, new doors and windows, new bug screens on deck, and an upgraded air conditioning system to keep the family cool. Our quiet, NON-smoking, single family home has 4 bedrooms, 2 full bath and sleeps 8 people max. Well behaved dogs are welcome; 2 dog limit. The home overlooks the beautiful nature preserve with large variety of birds and other wildlife. The home is just one block from prime hook private beach. Watch wonderful sunsets and walk on the beach at sunrise. Fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, grill, outside shower, and many inside and outside family activities. We just added Hepa filters.

Families will need to bring EXTRA blankets if desired, beach towels and bath towels. Code to the lock box is sent 3 days prior to arrival. There is no smoking anywhere on this property.

An additional fee will be charged if guests smoke in the house or on the property.

The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Our host responded promptly whenever we messaged with questions. We especially appreciated the screened-in porch and easy access to the beach. The sunset views from the deck were spectacular! Our dog loved playing in the fenced-in yard.

Great location

The host, Kelly, was very responsive. The house was great. Super comfortable and enough room for the 7 of us to hang out. There was so much in the house, it was amazing! Very dog friendly. I loved the quiet community and the private beach. I would definitely go back again.

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this property. The house was in immaculate condition and had everything we could have needed. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. We would absolutely stay here again.

Our stay at Lunas Landing was great! House was clean, beautiful and comfortable. We had everything we needed. The location to the beach was excellent. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet and the wildlife preserve views were outstanding! We would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing time at Primehook Beach. I never heard of this beach before. Loved everything about the house and how close it was to the private beach. We had a ton of fun here. Clean, lots of kitchen items and space for everyone to hang out. Loved the big table that we were all able to sit and eat dinner together. Very friendly community. I would rent here again.

Peaceful Environment

Absolutely love Lunas Landing!

My family and I stayed at this property for two weeks. The house is comfortable, well equipped, perfect location, and has absolutely amazing unobstructed views of the wildlife preserve and sunsets. Few things that make Lunas Landing extra special: - The separate room with bunk beds on the first floor is excellent when you have teenagers: there's a TV to hook up a gaming console, several bean bags, and a door! - We have two dogs, so the fenced in yard was very convenient, especially in the early mornings. - The screened in porch is wonderful, whether to have a meal, or to just sit and read a book while listening to the rain, or to enjoy a beer and some crabs! I hope we'll get a chance to stay here again in the coming years.

Primehook Beach

We had a wonderful family week at Primehook Beach (5 adults, 3 kids, 1 dog). Great beach a block away and beautiful sunsets over the nature preserve. The house was well supplied and fit our needs. The screened porch was a great place to sit in the mornings and evenings and the fenced in yard great for my son's dog. A peaceful and relaxing place to spend a vacation!

Perfect for a family with dogs!

We absolutely loved our week at this lovely home. As promised, there was a beautiful view of the refuge, and the beach was only a block away. The house was so well stocked and so comfortable. As a bonus, there was some available beach gear and a wagon to carry it in. We had wonderful walks and relaxing evening on the beautiful screened in porch. My dogs LOVED the yard Thank you to the host for your quick responses to my few questions. We truly had a wonderful time and hope to return someday!

Wonderfully quiet and stocked home

We had a wonderful vacation staying at Lunas Landing. We had 5 people, 3 adults and 2 kids, 6 &4. We all had a wonderful time, the house comes stocked with pretty much everything you could think of and more. The kids really enjoyed finding the bean bag chairs and the activity closet. The adults enjoyed the screened in porch to relax, read and have a few cocktails and watch the sunset over the marsh. It was an a very short walk to the pretty much deserted beach. We have stayed in Rehoboth previous years but found Primehook to be a wonderful spot as it’s very quiet but close enough to drive to mini golf, restaurants etc. The kids are already asking that we stay longer next year! Only suggestion would be to add a little ramp to the garbage cans shelter outside as when the cans were full it was hard to get in and out of the shelter.

Goose island

We came down as a big family of 6. The house accommodated all of us with more than enough room to roam and play. It was 3 adults and 3 children. My mom chose the bedroom straight back and it was the perfect spot for watching all the wildlife out the window. We had a huge family of geese that visited every day. It would be great if there was also a screened porch on the back end of the house. When planning your stay here, you’ll find you have to bring very little! I greatly enjoyed the blankets and bedding that were provided. The kids loved the bean bags and the kids room on the first floor. The house provided us with enough toilet paper, paper towels and laundry pods for a few days. We’re a big family so you may not have to supply your own at all! Another note I want to make is the Tupperware provided!! Great job. Some houses I’ve stayed at don’t provide those. You will need to provide your own Clorox wipes or any cleaning products to clean up after your kids or pets if needed. That was the only thing the house didn’t have. Oh! And there is an actual drip coffee pot- online we saw a kuerig but waited to see what was available at the house before we bought coffee. Bonus- some coffee and creamers and simple condiments are also provided. Being back off the beach- the access could not have been any easier. The walk was simple and the beach wagon that was provided went over the small walk easily. Overall, this was a great place. We had beautiful weather and just a great time.

Peace, serenity, quietude…with dogs!

We - my daughter, her husband, their 7-month old son and I spent several days at Lunas Landing the first week in June. None of us had any idea what it would be like. The house was very comfortable, and we especially enjoyed hanging out on the screen porch. Sometimes there was a breeze, sometimes not, but it was delightful. I don’t think I’ve spent time in a more peaceful place, except maybe the mountains of Colorado. You could see stars! No lights! Just what we needed. And Tommy, my grandson, got his first experience of sand, getting wet in the bay and watching the dogs run. Thank you.

Luna’s Landing was a great place to stay!

Our stay at Luna’s Landing is just what we needed for our annual get away! While this wasn’t our first stay on Prime Hook, it was our first stay on the wildlife refuge side. Absolutely great for bird watching and a very short walk to the beach. The house was clean and had every amenity you could need during a week stay. We loved having the fenced in yard for the dogs and the screened in porch for relaxing after a day at the beach. We hope to be back in future years!

Relaxing getaway

The house is located in a very quiet, peaceful area only a few minutes walk to a private beach. The accommodations were perfect for what we needed. Plenty of space/seating for everyone to relax and hang out. I loved sitting on the screened in porch to read, listen to the birds and see the beautiful sunsets.

Family Vacation

Lovely well appointed beach house. Super clean, well equipped kitchen, all around welcoming and homey atmosphere. We had 2 young children, 6 adults and dogs. The screened porch was wonderful, especially for those early risers who enjoy drinking a cup of coffee and watching the sun come up. Nice tall fence took the worry out of bringing dogs along and they enjoyed the nice grassy yard. We enjoyed the local wildlife from the shore birds to the very tame rabbits hopping around. The biggest surprise was the beach and neighborhood. We felt like we were the only people there. Actually, there really very few people around. We had the beach to ourselves most of the time and a busy day was 2 other people and occasional walkers. The waves were smaller than the regular shore so the small children could really enjoy themselves in the water. What was great is that the beach is a "living" beach. It is just as nature makes it. Horseshoe crabs, washup plants, etc. No thrashing machine at night cleaning the sand. No trash to clean up anyway, just natural occurring sea plants and great shells. House is very close to beach so easy to run back for a quick trip. Also was very nice to have beach gear to borrow. Had a great visit and would like to return next year. Very big plus was the ability to bring our dogs. They enjoyed the beach in am and pm because it was very hot during our stay.

We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do. The home is uniquely situated to enjoy all the views. Walk the private beach in the morning for amazing sunrises, and watch the beautiful sunsets at night overlooking the preserve right from the home. The home can comfortably sleep 8. While it is ideal to enjoy nature in a peaceful setting, it is still close enough to tons of activities along the coast including water sports, wine and beer tasting, and any kind of shopping your looking for. We are also close enough to NY, NJ, and the DMV area that you can drive here after work and not waste the whole day traveling. The home is about 2.5 hrs from the DMV area. The home is also well equipped so all you need to bring is bath towels, beach towels and food (although the local restaurants are great). We also have a full size washer and dryer if needed after a day at the beach. Feel free to bring your pups along for the fun. Dog bowls are provided. Close to everything. Quiet and peaceful but still close enough to visit the excitement. Something for everyone to enjoy. We also have games for kids of all ages.
