Great location, terrible property manager and experience
Checking into the property wasn’t an issue due to the fact we found the door open upon arrival. The home hadn’t been cleaned, the master bed was broken, a CO2 detector was chirping in the kitchen, the light above the dining room table wasn’t working (found later that evening along with no working light in the bathroom). The couch we were going to use as a sleeper sofa was broken and not in any condition to be slept on. After making contact with the property owner listed, the home was cleaned and the master bed was fixed however we went without lighting which was difficult at night and two members of our party slept on the floor which was unacceptable. I contacted the property owners four times during our stay via text and called multiple times prior to our departure, after our departure and the day following. No response. I then contacted them via email requesting a refund due to the sleeping arrangements. No response. I sent a message via VRBO. No response. It wasn’t until I opened a case with VRBO that got their attention and I was informed “they had other priorities and end of the month billing to finalize and someone would get back to me”. After 48 hours I contacted them back. I was told “there was nothing they could do for me that it was my responsibility to make sure it was fixed and I should have continued to follow up”. I’m sorry, I’m on vacation and not spending every second of my time tracking people down people when I have already called and texted multiple times and sent emails and messages via apps. If I could leave pictures on here I would! PLEASE DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!!! Great location but terrible management!
