Deer ridge is a custom built country side home with modern amenities, and is nestled atop a hill. This spacious retreat offers unparalleled vistas of the majestic Sierras from every angle.

With 3 spacious bedrooms and a den, plus 2.5 bathrooms, the 2600 sq ft spacious home can accommodate 6 guests comfortably. Starlink internet for seamless connectivity on the property grounds and for work and play needs.

Deer Ridge is your perfect home for family gatherings, intimate getaways, celebrations with friends, bike and hike trips to Yosemite, wellness retreats, paint workshops and much more. Photographers and astronomers find it delightful to view beautiful skies, stars and natural surroundings at Deer Ridge. The sights and sounds of nature give you complete privacy from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The Space

As you step inside, you'll be greeted by custom murals of local scenes and a pool table in the great room. The open layout seamlessly connects the living, dining, and kitchen areas, creating a welcoming environment for socializing and relaxation. A pool table adds a touch of entertainment, while the 65" smart TV in the den offers a cozy spot for movie nights or catching up on your favorite shows.


Bedrooms & Bathrooms

The master bedroom boasts a hand crafted queen bed, a spacious bathtub and a self-care station, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. Upstairs, two identical bedrooms feature a king bed and sit-stand workstation in one, and two twin beds with foos ball table in the other, providing comfortable accommodations for guests of all ages. The den in the lower level overlooks the Sierra ridge, has a large TV plus games such as giant jenga, board games and ample seating for everyone in the group.

Outdoor Oasis
Step outside to discover the expansive covered decks that wrap around the home, offering plenty of outdoor seating to soak in the breathtaking views. Enjoy sunrises from the front deck sipping your morning drink, and captivating sunsets by the rear deck soaking in the hot tub or relaxing with a book on the expansive deck.

Stargazing and bird watching are popular activities our guests often enjoy. We share the space with local wildlife.

From the tranquil setting of the hot tub to the sizzle of the BBQ grill on the rear deck, every corner of the outdoor space invites relaxation and enjoyment.

OUTDOOR RINSE STATION: Rinse off under the skies at our off-grid, sun-heated Ridge Rinse — when the ranch plumbing cooperates. The "Ridge Rinse" is a rustic, off-grid outdoor shower fed by a sun-heated gravity tank. It is a fun extra — not a listed amenity — and being ranch plumbing in the wild, it may be out of service at any time without notice (weather, wildlife, and gravity all get a vote). The home's full indoor bathrooms are your showers. If the Rinse is flowing during your stay, enjoy it — and please turn the tap off firmly when done, since it draws from our well

Benches scattered throughout the property offer secluded spots to admire the natural beauty of the foothills and spot local wildlife, a wide variety of bird species, deer, foxes, rabbits, wild turkeys, squirrels, and many more.

Access & Other Details
Please note that the vacation home is accessed via a gravel road, for approximately 1.5 miles. The property is reached by a short uphill, unpaved gravel drive. Most vehicles can access it when driven slowly and carefully, though an SUV is preferable during poor weather or if you are uncomfortable driving on rural mountain roads.

Guests have a separate gated driveway for privacy and ease of access. Additionally, the property features outdoor cameras for security purposes, though they are not actively monitored. We respect your privacy and our focus is to provide you with an enjoyable private experience.

Conveniently located just 36 miles from Yosemite's west entrance, Deer Ridge Vacation Home serves as an ideal base camp for exploring the natural wonders of the park. From hiking and fishing to kayaking and white-water rafting, there's no shortage of outdoor adventures to be had. Nearby attractions such as Bass Lake, the Sugar Pine Railroad, and Mariposa Downtown offer further opportunities for dining, shopping, and cultural experiences.
