Join us for a unique experience in our cottage. Renovated in 2008 with beautiful new fixtures and modern amenities allowing the original vintage character and charm to shine through. Beit Nur (House of Light) features 3 bedrooms (2 queens, one king) upstairs, as well as a bath room upstairs. We also have a fully finished basement with a separate room that can be used as a fourth bedroom, with a aerobed and sleeper futon, and the second bathroom is also in the basement.

The cottage has a spacious eat in kitchen and cozy living room. Each bedroom boasts luxurious beds and bedrooms tastefully decorated to reflect our family's extensive travels abroad.

Located in a great location, you are just 3-4 blocks from downtown wineries and wine bars. Walk to 16 wineries through Whitman College Campus. One of our best amenities is our location, we are about a five minutes walk to Whitman's campus. Through our backyard you will find a picturesque park for family outings, walking the dogs, or playing a game of tennis. Out front is a fenced playground area.

Remodeled 1935 cottage with private fenced back yard. Our home backs up to the beautiful Menlo park where you can play tennis or just walk under the trees and enjoy the peace. Also, the kids will enjoy the play equipment at Menlo Park. The house is situated on a quiet, private street. The kitchen is distinguished enough for a seasoned chef and fully equipped. Relax and enjoy the comfortable beds, backyard sunsets or walk through the historic neighborhood that is host to an array of beautiful homes. Most of all, it is our joy to extend an invitation to you, may you enjoy your stay!

The house was very clean and very quiet.

There was 3 couples that stayed and it was plenty of room. The weather was wonderful so we spent a lot of time on the back deck. Beware to anyone staying in the master king bedroom that there is a sky light right above the bed so early morning light is very awakening. We are farmers used to getting up early but we wished we had eye masks because we had the opportunity to sleep in. Otherwise beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, towels were nice and thick. Neighborhood was very quiet. Enjoyed spending time in walla walla.

Great Location

This was the perfect spot for my family from all over the country to gather for my daughter's graduation from Whitman College. The location was close to everything and there was plenty of space for our group of seven. The house and kitchen were clean and had all the amenities we needed. The backyard was beautiful and the definite "hang out" spot for all. Thanks!!

Nice, but not for those over 50.

1. The booking process is confusing and misleading, although partly VRBO-HomeAway's fault, not the owner's: ad price is misleading and should include notice for fees and tax (final price was1.6 X ad price); damage insurance appears non-optional on initial charge-summary; owner-requirement for separate contract should be stated early in the booking process; pre-rental inspection of property was disallowed.


AREA. (Absent handrail is asking for lawsuit if guest slips and is injured.Easy fix!) d.Streetside decorations impair easy debarcation there. Retired people beware!

3. The property is homey and nicely furnished in good location. But what is "Wildwood Village"? Another VRBO-homeaway confabulation? The contract was for "Best Bur, House of Light."

What a wonderful home you have! We stayed with 2 other couples and all enjoyed your home immensely! We would get up early sit in the living room with the door open listening to the birds chirp and drink our coffee before a day of wine tasting. After spending the day in wine country we would come back and open our favorite wines and sit and revisit the day. Then we would make dinner at the house and I can say it lacked for nothing. We bbq'd and cooked in the kitchen and just enjoyed being on the deck and the beautiful backyard.

The beds and linens were all very wonderful...I was sorry to have to get up early every day they were so comfortable!

If we're lucky enough to come back and visit Walla Walla I would love to stay in your home again!

Great house

The house was much larger than advertised. It had lots of room, the beds were comfortable and a kitchen that satisfied our culinary needs. The backyard was beautiful. It was also located across the street from a park that our kids enjoyed playing at. I would recommend this house to anyone visiting Walla Walla.
