Looking to relax, sunbath, go boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, look at nature and still be close to it all? You have come to the right place.
From the moment you enter the home you'll will enjoy the abundance of space, open layout and clean sight lines to the huge south facing decks and backyard. The bright chefs kitchen has a ton of counter space with island bar and cozy breakfast nook. There is a large living room and dining room on either side with a huge patio connecting them all boast beautiful south views of the lake, there is a nice den with a large window and two single trundle beds that serves as our third bedroom. Lakefront yard W/ boat launch and boat house with seated area and fire pit. There is also a fence that goes the full width of the yard at the waters edge if you have little ones. Downstairs you'll find 2 bedrooms (1 with a queen bed and 1 with a bunk with a queen and single bed), we also have a third room with a queen bed with no window, recreation room with a TV and toys for the kids.
A wonderful space to relax and enjoy nature all year round.
What you will love in the neighbourhood
With the mildest climate in Canada, gardens bloom year-round in Victoria. The city is tied closely to both land and sea and the rugged natural beauty of the Pacific coast encourages all-season adventures in the great outdoors.
Our neighbourhood is located 10 miles from downtown Victoria on Langford Lake and is the City's largest lake. It also has the most amenities.
The lake is a popular swimming, boating, and fishing destination for residents and visitors alike. Numerous boardwalks and shore access points allow for great fishing opportunities while a boat launch (electric motors only) on the western shore provides an even better chance to land a trout.
The tranquil Ed Nixon Trail runs along the bank of Langford Lake until it reaches the swimming beach and an accessible playground. From here you can watch ripples from kayakers' paddles lap the shore while you wait for the trout to bite. The lake's several beaches are perfect places to go for a swim in the lake's cool waters. Water fowl species and turtles can be spotted from the boardwalk and trail system.
There are many restaurants, shopping and recreation to explore in the area.
Note:
1. There is a private single tenanted suite on the property, with its own entrance and patio. This space can also be rented - it has 3 bedrooms, beautiful kitchen, living room and bathroom. The backyard, Hot tub and lake will solely be yours during your stay.
2. There is also a cat who is normally is in the house, the cat will not be in the house when you are there.
3. The driveway is steep. This would be hard property for mobility issues.
4. This is our primary residence that we rent out while we are away. So there will be things like jackets in closets and personal photos up etc. We do love to share our home though so we hope you come enjoy. We do use a professional cleaning and gardening service between rentals and have rental liens etc
5. As of June our neighbour is doing work on their property Mon-Fri 9-4pm.
