What an awesome place! Quiet, remote and a million stars to keep you company. A short walk to the Wind River for fishing and a beautiful old railroad bridge to access the ranch. A perfect escape from the city in a comfortable cabin. If you want peace and reconnecting with nature, you won’t find a better place.
My family and I had a great vacation on Greg and Karen's ranch. Tons of space for the kids to roam and many places to see with a short drive. We spent a couple days just relaxing on the ranch. We also ventured out to the Red Desert, Thermopolis, and the Wind River Range near Lander. We had some great fishing, hiking, swimming and wildlife viewing. The cabin was perfect for us, modern and clean. If you are thinking about staying here, don't hesitate, book it!
This place is great. The kids were able to catch fish in the pond just outside of the cabin. We took several side-by-side rides. The owners couldn’t be more accommodating and nicer. They are great people and were there if you needed them but you have plenty of privacy.. this property has everything you need to get away and relax a little bit.
I don't know what more I can add to what other guests have already stated. Karen and Greg's two cabins are in a beautiful, private setting. The cabin was very clean, tastefully decorated, with everything we needed. There is quiet, serenity, wildlife, stars, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and double rainbows just outside the doors. We fished in the catch and release pond a few steps from the cabin. Unseasonal heavy rains at the time made it questionable if our low clearance car could navigate the entrance road. Greg made arrangements for us to park our car at a safe area in town and cheerfully shuttled us in and out whenever needed. Hope to return again.
We needed a place for our family to stay while visiting for a my husband's father's funeral. This location was beautiful, peacefull, and just what we needed. It was a bit difficult to access in our minivan (higher SUV recommended). But the cabins are beautifully and super practically appointed with EVERYTHING you need. Super pet friendly ( we had our dog with us). Friendly and charming horse and mules on the proprtery:) We would definitely come back here.
This luxurious cabin is spectacularly situated for breathtaking scenery. It's such a unique location! We loved the drive onto the property over the 1893 railroad trestle over the Wind River! The cabin has beautiful finishes, very comfortable beds and a plus having laundry available. Greg was fantastic to deal with, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We would go back in a second if we are ever back in Wyoming!
My wife and I stayed here for one night, really wish we could have stayed longer! The place is beautiful, all newly done located on a beautiful piece of property. Everything was very clean and had great selection of kitchen items to cook a meal. Our two labs loved the pond while we enjoyed sitting on the porch watching them. Definitely will be returning in the future.

About the host
Hosted by Karen Fuechsel
My husband, Greg, and I live on and maintain the ranch and cabins. We love to share it with our guests. Greg grew up in this area and knows where absolutely everything is - including the best fishing spots. He loves to share stories of the history of the ranch, of Riverton and greater Wyoming. We both work hard to ensure our guests have everything they need for an amazing stay with us.
Why they chose this property
This ranch has been in my husband's family for 60 years. It has a unique beauty, and is a wonderful place to relax in the peace and quiet, or recreate in the wide open. Wildlife abounds, and our dark night skies allow for amazing star-gazing.
