Quiet, comfortable park, just 7 km from Rothenburg ob der Tauber

We would like to invite you to spend your vacation in our apartment in Linden. Relax and recover from daily life, totally without stress. This roomy apartment has a separate entrance end is located near the woods, on upper floor of our house. It is refurnished and it has been fit up with a lot of love. Enjoy the silence and the grace of the clear and generous flat. The excellent location is a good starting point for many activities, such as hiking and cycling. Transport yourself and back to medieval times in the nearby old towns Rothenburg, Dinkelsbühl and Feuchtwangen. It doesn’t matter whether you prefer a sporting holiday or would more like of loaf, you will have enough possibilities to spend your time.

Particularities: Visit our historical old town Rothenburg. Transport yourself in the medieval time and see the many sights, the beautiful post card motives, the wells, towers and museums. It’s also very charming to go through the many, little, cornered lanes, which many day-visitors don’t even get to see and know because of lack of time. Take a tour on the town wall round the former centre of the town and get to see the town from above. Go along the way to the ' castle garden ' which passed the ' Herrngasse ' and see the large mansions with their courtyards and gardens. In the ' castle garden ' you have an amazing view over the beautiful ' Taubertal '.
One thing you should never miss is a tour through the town with the night-watchman. You should also see a little, romantic wine tavern which is older than 1000 years. There are so many things left, one could mention, but maybe you come to visit and see it by yourself.


Possibilities for excursions:: For anyone who likes the nature we recommend the cycling - and hiking paths which are very easy to find. In the neighbouring village, there is a nature bath with a water playground, in Rothenburg you can find a heated open-air-swimming-pool with a big meadow you can lay on, and with a lot of very old trees. Or you go to Nordenberg to join the fitness trail which includes an adventure playground. Only 2 kilometres distant you also find some fish ponds in which you are able to go fishing (with fishing permission). But the ' Frankenhöhe ' is also suited excellent for hiking and in winter for cross-country skiing. For anyone who wants to get in the air you are able to lift off at the aerodrome at Rothenburg for a circuit or to watch the landscape from a balloon. Going on horseback, lawn tennis, golf, swimming, squash or fitness centre are further sporting activities in the region. You are also able to take leave of one’s manners in the culinary aspect by visiting the numerous restaurants.

Further possibilities for excursions:: If you want to once experience something special we recommend to you to take a hiking to our home lake. There you are able to watch the beavers when the dusk breaks in. The living space of the beaver is the shore which is grown over with trees. There are two lakes in the forest near our village which is the home of the beavers. Or you go by rowing-boat through the ' Altmühltal ', an impressing landscape is waiting for you, because the tour crosses the nature reserve. Further possibilities for excursions are the Franconia lakes and the Casino in Feuchtwangen. There is a beautiful zoological gardens near the city Bad Mergentheim , you are able to ideal connect with a nice walk. Join guidance while there are the feeding times, there are a lot of European animals waiting for you, including a big enclosure for wolfs.
