Great for a family gathering
Booked this property to celebrate our dad's 60th birthday - our family included 9 adults,1 child and 2 dogs. We enjoyed how spacious the house was and that it included FOUR FULL BATHROOMS! The rooming situation is a bit tight, with only 3 private rooms and 1 room with 2 bunk beds - there's plenty of pull out couches everywhere but if everyone wants privacy in your group this may present a challenge. The kitchen and dining set up was great, plenty of room and utensils for big meals. The hot tub and firepit were also great for hanging out and chatting. It would have been better if we were able to dock our boat in the boat dock - we ended up just tying off of the dock/against the retaining wall which did scuff the boat a little on the last day (but obviously a risk we were willing to take to not have to take the boat in and out each time).
The host was very nice and accommodating (when they responded). There was a notable lack of communication during and after booking that left our group uneasy, but the host was apologetic and accommodating. I'm sure they might have had other things going on that prevented them from answering or responding to calls/texts/VRBO messages.
Overall, a fantastic time. The hosts really were very nice and accommodating. We would recommend and likely book this property again.
