Close to the property is a large, natural lake where holidaymakers are welcome to fish, and 2 km away there is a good stream for fishing. The large Skjern Å stream, known amongst other things for its salmon population, is not far away. The Ejstrupsøerne lakes near Skjern are also well worth a visit. The area around Sønder Omme is scenically beautiful, with woodland, heathland, lakes and streams – perfect for walking and cycling – and a little further afield lies Ringkøbing Fjord, which offers excellent windsurfing conditions. As well as beautiful natural surroundings, Sønder Omme offers a wide range of activities. In the town of Sønder Omme, you can hire tennis courts, amongst other things. There are also several golf courses in the area, and popular family attractions such as Legoland and Givskud Lion Park are just half an hour’s drive from the holiday home.
