Convenient stay for friends and dogs

We stayed for almost a week with friends and dogs for a disc dog championship. We had a big dinner one night and we found most everything we needed and had a great time with the skiball table and ample seating for games in the living room. The fenced in yard made for easy bathroom breaks for the dogs, as well.

Family Weekend in Decatur

The property was very comfortable. The children loved the bedroom/game room. The grown ups enjoyed the pool table. Unfortunately, there weren't any ping pong balls so we didn't get to do that activity. The bedrooms were spacious and the kitchen was well appointed. Overall, we had a great time in Decatur and at the home.

Sweet Location

Celebrated our Mom’s 70th birthday. We could easily get to Huntsville and all major shopping throughout the week. We had a couple of normal house repairs/requests and the response time was prompt! Kitchen had everything we needed. Our grownup children enjoyed the pool table and huge backyard. Our priorities for our trip were proximity to our Mom so we could take her to dinners, spoil her, & have our small family reunion. It was a success.

Christmas holiday in Huntsville

Marie was very kind to accommodate our needs and special requests. The interior was very comfy and homey, nicely appointed with contemporary furniture and decor. Enjoyed the pool table. The living room could use some floor lamps or an alternative to the overhead light for ambience and the sink area could use a light as well (or directions to operate what appeared to be small lights attached to the underside of the shelves). The yard was perfect for our pup. We were especially happy when we drove up to the property at night to see all the holiday lights! While it is an older home with evidence of minor nicks and in need of some repairs, it was a wonderful place for our family to be together for Christmas. Thank you, Marie!

This house had plenty of room for three adults and five children. All the conveniences of home plus a pool table!! If the floors had been clean , our socks were nasty after walking through the house, it would have been a great stay!

Good communication and location

The house was well located for the week of stepdaughter’s wedding in Falkville. Great communication with owner or manager. Unfortunately an animal had gotten underneath the house and with downpours, was hard to get removed before we headed home. The joys (and aggravations) of home ownership… But it was well suited to our needs otherwise. Thanks!

Comfortable and Clean

I came across this house last minute and it was a what we needed. We stayed here for 3 nights during the last part of our Spring Break week (April 7-10). This property was close to the boat ramp for my husband’s fishing tournament on Lake Wheeler, close to downtown + surrounding local attractions and was easy to find. The communication with the property manager was great - fast responses (through the app). Check in was super easy (electronic keypad on the door). The green chair in the living room is actually really comfortable too. There is a suite in the back that can be rented out separately and there’s a light by the back door that stays on for those guest(s). The photos showed an air hockey table, but it’s actually a pool table (which was fine and we played the day it rained). Also, the front has a U-shaped driveway for the house guest to use & the side (wider and larger) driveway was for the suite guests. We were not able to get 2 trucks with 20-ft boats attached parked in the U-shaped driveway, but the property manager reached out to the guests staying in the suite to share their driveway with us. Overall a great stay and clean for this older house.

Perfect Holiday Home for our Family

We enjoyed our stay at this Sweet Ballpark Home while visiting family in Alabama. You can tell a lot of love and thought went into the overall design and small touches of the home. It was well stocked and the hosts easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We really enjoyed the home.

Wonderful VRBO in Decatur!

This property is perfect for any family if needing some place to relax and stay while visiting the Decatur area. The kids really enjoyed the air hockey table. Highly recommend!!!
