Texas Getaway

Stayed here over a weekend with my wife while we were visiting family in Childress. We loved how secluded it was and experiencing all of the wildlife and the beautiful Texas sunsets. Amie is a terrific host and was very easy to communicate with. She also has a great story and the proceeds go to a great cause. Highly recommend staying here!

Surprise gem of a property

I almost missed this property and I am so glad I didn't. I regret I was only able to stay for one night during my travel to West Texas to see family. I tried to book it on my way home, but it was taken already. I will definitely return. The house is a treasure with so many details you may miss if you are not careful. I had my little dog and he enjoyed snooping around the yard. I did get to visit the piggies and thoroughly enjoyed the time and stores behind the non-profit. I can't wait to return.

No air conditioning

There is not a 1 bedroom. Only loft. AC is a tiny window unit that has no hope of cooling the space where the beds are. Especially when it is 107 degrees. Definitely misrepresented. Caveat emptor ( buyer beware )
