The 73 sqm sawmill is a lovingly renovated loft with a terrace and garden. It is part of a small, listed, former winery in the middle of Kirchberg an der Murr - around 25 minutes north of Stuttgart. And lies between Backnang and the Schiller town of Marbach.

Living in the "sawmill" is CO2 neutral, thanks to our own PV system, green electricity and pellet heating.

In the sawmill you are completely on your own. Respectively alone, in pairs, with the children and also with dogs. For a weekend, a few days or a few weeks.

The apartment has a large living room with a cozy dining area, a pretty bathroom with shower and toilet, as well as a storage room and a small stage as storage. Parking is in front of the house. There is direct access via your own front door. And the use of the terrace and garden are very welcome.

The apartment is equipped with solid wood parquet, solid wood bed and sofa bed (for one or two people each), screen, Sony TV with Apple TV, Woborn Bluetooth speaker, tube radio, free online access (WiFi with up to 150 Mbit / s), wardrobe, fitted kitchen with dishwasher, induction hob, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, Moccamaster coffee machine, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, dishes, cutlery etc. Bed linen, towels and tea towels are provided.

All goods for daily needs are available in the immediate vicinity and within walking distance: supermarket, organic farm, butcher, pharmacy, stationery store, kiosk, bank and two bakeries. One of them also provides fresh pretzels and rolls on the breakfast table on Sundays.

Location: 71737 Kirchberg an der Murr.
The municipality has an S-Bahn connection directly to Stuttgart and Backnang (via Marbach and Ludwigsburg).

And the surrounding area also has a lot to offer: trips to the legendary Backnanger street festival (June) or to the Schiller town of Marbach. Visit the third-division soccer club SG Sonnenhof-Großaspach or a home game concert by Andrea Berg. Bicycle tours on the Murr Valley Cycle Path and hikes in the Swabian Forest, in the beautiful Bottwar Valley and in the Löwenstein Mountains. Or just pure bathing fun in the Erbstetten outdoor pool and in the Breitenauer See.

Excellent spacious loft

My wife and I had a lovely short stay at the excellent loft appartment, comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. The owner is very friendly keeping in touch and giving us all informations we needed. The small town is very calm and quiet. Unfortunately we could not enjoy the cozy garden, the weather was cold to stay outside. Everything was according to the description and pictures showed. I would rent again without hesitation.

The apartment was fantastic.

We chose here for the character. It was an amazing space. We had everything we needed for our stay. Everything was as described and more. The area is very quiet but we were ideally placed to do everything we wanted. We were in the area for a music festival. We will be using this apartment whenever we go to this festival again. The garden was a relaxing oasis in the evening as the weather was very hot. Thank you for a wonderful holiday. See you again in the future.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus in idyllischer Lage

Es war ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt für mich und meine Hündin. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeber sind toll und die Unterkunft lässt keine Wünsche offen. Es ist alles liebevoll gestaltet und der Garten ist ein Traum. Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft zum Wohlfühlen

Wir haben eine Woche Urlaub mit unserer frz. Bulldogge in BaWü gemacht. Die gemütliche Ferienwohnung hat dazu beigetragen, dass wir uns sehr wohl fühlten. Nach einem Ausflug ins Grüne, saßen wir gerne im Garten. Durch den Zaun ringsum konnte unser Hund sich frei bewegen. Nach dem Aufstehen am Morgen frühstückten wir draußen in angenehmer Ruhe. Die Vermieter wohnen nebenan, was man aber nicht bemerkt. Sie sind stets bemüht, alle Fragen sofort zu beantworten und Probleme zu lösen. Fürs Auto steht ein Stellplatz zur Verfügung. Der Zugang zum Haus ist über eine Steintreppe zu erreichen. Dieser ist für Menschen, die schlecht zu Fuß sind, etwas beschwerlich. Wir können ansonsten die Ferienwohnung nur empfehlen, wenn man Ruhe und Erholung sucht.

Tolle Ferienwohnung mit sehr netter Vermieterin

Wir brauchten die Ferienwohnung eigentlich nur zur Übernachtung, um in der Nähe unsere Familie zu besuchen. Schnell zeigte sich aber, dass die Wohnung viel mehr kann. Sie ist nicht nur umfassend ausgestattet und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Garten am Haus, mit diversen Sitz- und Liegegelegenheiten verführt zum Verweilen und Entspannen. Ich hoffe, es bietet sich noch einmal die Gelegenheit, hier Urlaub zu machen.

Gerne wieder

Eine Woche Tapetenwechsel, um mal die Seele baumeln zu lassen, Kraft zu tanken und schöne Spaziergänge zu machen. Unsere Tochter hat sich sehr gut mit den 3 Töchtern der Gastgeberfamilie verstanden. Auch unseren Hunden gefiel der Aufenthalt sehr gut. Zum Einkaufen ist alles fußläufig, was man für den Alltag braucht. Sehr schöne Freizeit und Pumptrack-Anlage, ebenso fußläufig für die Kinder.

Toller Urlaub in einem herrlichen Fachwerkhaus

Wir haben uns in der Wohnung in der Woche sehr wohl gefühlt. Es gibt auch einen tollen Garten, der zum Entspannen einlädt. Die Lage mitten im Ort ist ebenfalls sehr schön und praktisch. Tolle und sehr saubere Unterkunft

Wir wurden bei der Ankunft direkt herzlichst begrüßt und durch das Anwesen geführt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und hat alles, was man für den täglichen bedarf braucht. Die Gastgeberin ist immer ansprechbar und sehr lieb und freundlich. Für mich war es die perfekte Unterkunft und ich komme gerne wieder wenn ich wieder in der Gegend bin!
